I DO NOT HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE CURRENT SYSTEM JUST STATING AN OPINION THAT WOULD MAKE DESTINY BETTER TO CASUALS WHO LIKE PVP MORE THAN PVE BUT ALSO REWARDS THE BEST OF THE BEST
You go 9-0
You have been marked by the Eye of Osiris
Buff: You will only play against other players who have gone Flawless this week.
Buff: Character has massive light radiating from their head (bring back Nightfall buff animation)
If you can make it to the Lighthouse again you get much more rewarding gifts from Osiris. Like elemental primary/emblems/shaders
Buff ends at reset.
133,444 went flawless.
820,986 people played.
I will bet anything it drops below 800k this week. Bungies problem. We are just going to find a new game.
This would make matchmaking much much better at puting equal groups against each other
This would make players who have never been to the Lighthouse actually want to play.
Put non flawless players vs non flawless players.
Sick of people playing just to keep others from going.
Regardless of your opinion, thanks for the bump.
Best responses
If I considered myself one of the best. This idea would really appeal to me.
Pure competition only play against the best.
But from what I'm reading in the responses it's more you want to stop others getting to the lighthouse than you want to fight competitively.
Seems pretty childish to me.

I would just like to see the best Elimination players face each other.
It would be well worth watching.
It looks like the majority of flawless people would rather stop people getting to the lighthouse than fight other flawless. #cowards maybe.

I find it funny that those who have gone flawless and replied to this post have almost universally been rude and offensive.
What's so wrong with more people getting the chance to go to lighthouse? Why are the so called "elite" so threatened by this?

I agree, it would open up more opportunities for the people who didnt go flawless, to do so. And once that happens (if i was to go flawless). Id love to play against the best of the best. Brings more intense and fun competition.

Having gone flawless: I LOVE this idea. Not only do I get to show off that not only did I got flawless that one time (emblem), but I did it THIS WEEK (flaming head).
Not only that, but now I can compete against the best of the best and not destroy the balance of Trails by continuing to compete against scrubs who are already struggling.
I'm down to make trails more accessable. I think this is brilliant.

I think if you have gone to the lighthouse, you should never play a team that has zero lighthouse arrivals. I think rewards should scale acoordingly. I dont have the time (and this pvp is dreadful) to learn the minutiae of a map while being rap3d by "elites" its bad enough i cant get a decent team for oryx hm cp.
1 답변If you went once, you shouldn't be elegible for trial on the same guardian before reset. Period.

8 답변love your ideas I had a similar one where if you go flawless with a character you can't use him on trials for the week. That should prevent flawless people to keep playing trials just for the carry ( paid or not ) and for more above average ( need to be that to reach flawless ) PVPers to reach lighthouse Your idea however promotes a more competitive mode creating new goal that at the end won't fix anything. After reaching flawless people will cry over how hard the next step after lighthouse is This can be fixed easily if the create destiny tournaments like MLG status events so hardcore gamers can go to play more competitive

6 답변I like the idea, i really do. But this defeat the entire point of Trails. The whole reason they MADE IT HARDER in the first place. Let's be honest the only reason people are complaining is because they want rewards. A REAL PvP player accepts the fact that they need to improve if they're losing to better players. So in a perfect world, this idea works. but then they're going to complain again.
Please put players who have been flawless, then flawless again, into a separate group, it's not fair! blahblah
I don't want too come across as an asshole, but how many pvp only players are really doing Trials for the Lighthouse? honest question, because I don't.

He's not saying he wants to stop others from going, he's saying put the teams that went flawless their first run in a playlist with other flawless players... The ones who do flawless in this elite playlist get special gear/items to make them worth it... That way more casual players have a better chance to go to the lower tier lighthouse !! Me?? I've been flawless 1 time yr 1 and got carried in that run, I say leave it the way it is... You're always gonna have the troll players trying to stop someone from doing well... It sucks but practice will make you better, trust me

3 답변Pvp should just be taken out of this game. It's a pve based game and trials is only hurting it

1 답변Now bungie this is needed. My come back and play again till then think I'll stay on blops.
-
If this idea were to ever actually reach Bungie's ears it would be nice. However, the rewards should be reworked so you can get 310-315 gear for your first lighthouse visit and then 315-320 for the second. Would provide a bigger incentive for the dedicated and try-hards to continue playing after going flawless once.

5 답변to be flawless you have to beat the best. If you only faced non-flawless, by the end of the week it would be considerably easier to hit flawless because the "flawless" players will be done. This is an honor not a freaking free bee for sucking! PS IM FLAWLESS

작성자: Shirano 11/9/2015 1:52:35 PMI've been flawless a lot in year and I have been in year 2 and I would greatly enjoy this, mostly because it's disgusting how some flawless people will get a new passage and keep deleting and re buying it just to fight low win people (I have seen people do this and it's such a shame). I also think it'd be great if it match made by light level first then wins so it's not a 8-0 vs 8-0 but 2 team is all 315s and the other is 308, 306, 311

Its to late for this but it is a good idea. Im sure those of us that have switched games are enjoying our other games and will not go back to destiny. Thats how i am. Im on black ops 3, then rainbow 6 siege and then the division so il b content for a long while. Destiny cant do anything to make me go back to it.

1 답변When you win trials, it gives you the equivalent to normal raid loot. Then you get put in the winners bracket. Your 2nd lighthouse trip drops loot equivalent to the hard mode raid. There, its that simple. And if the drops are anything like the raid, nobody's getting jack.
