PETITION TO MAKE THORN YEAR 2!
let's be honest guardians we all love the thorn deep down in our hearts. we worked so hard to get this so let's get it back!

1 답변People seem to forget Thorn was nerfed. If you're still being outplayed by a no longer 2-shot-headshot-walk-away, then you need to git gud. It takes 3 shots plus burn to kill someone now.

2 답변Signed. To everybody crying about how op it is in PvP, I agree. The burn is a bit overboard, but the need was horrible. 3 damage on burn? That is too low. However, imagine the pve bonus. Tether+weapons of light+burn = excellent damage, which would be ongoing for a few seconds as you switch to a sniper, for example. I think thorn could be needed in PvP, but buffed as a PvE gun

The Thorn was too much of a game breaker in the Crucible. For this reason I'm sure the folks at Bungie wanted to start fresh. They didn't bring back the Gjallahorn ( Strike gamebreaker ) either wisely I believe. Both weapons were quite controversial. I think in the interests of fair game play and less whining they made the right choice.
