Xbox Elite Controller or Scuf?
Does anyone have both or one that could provide some helpful insight? The Xbox elite had been sold out for a little bit now. How are the paddles? I like how scuffs look. What thumb sticks do you guys use? Anyone with under a 1kd don't respond. Ha! Jk

1 답변I have an elite. Never had a headset problem. I use the two short paddles in the top spots. Its definitely a learning curve, but they are convenient once you get use to them. Button remapping is slick as well as having 2 profiles for specific setups. I never had a scuf, so I don't know how they feel or perform. I'll just say I really enjoy my elite.

1 답변Scuf* but Xbox stole the idea, scuf has them down, the elites back padels even though you can remove them are easy to hit unintentionally

1 답변DO NOT buy the new Xbox controller with the ear bud jack...it bugs out and make a weird noise when your headset is in AND it disconnects a lot when the battery is a little below half

1 답변I don't know much about the scuf controller, but I do have the elite. It is very comfortable and responsive as advertised. I don't use the paddles on the back, mostly because I don't feel I can use them and still grip the controller tight enough. Having a taller left thumbstick (option) is more comfortable for me. Sprinting seems smoother (clicking the left thumbstick), despite that f'ing cool down. And the toggle switch for the right trigger makes any scout fire on a hair trigger (Mida).

1 답변Scuf has more customization. It can be tailored specifically to your needs and provides potentially more "pro" features. However, scuf controllers really aren't built to last. The elite comes with the great quality you would expect, as well as a few easily adjustable features. It may not be the top of the line for customization, but it is definitely a great controller i would argue it is better Just for the fact it will last. It is also cheaper in comparison to a scuf controller with the same features. The worst part would be all of the different parts it comes with, which is awesome but could also be lost fairly easily I imagine. Though it does come with a carrying case so that hopefully shouldn't be an issue. Gotta go with the elite. Scuf just doesn't have the quality. Unless you just want the best of the best features, elite wins.

I do not have an infinity but I have a scuff that is built exactly the same as the infinity but without the interchangeable joysticks. The scuff has a better paddle system on the back but every other aspect of the controller falls short of the elite controller. Elite controller has better triggers with better trigger stops, the durability feels much better and is comfortable. The joysticks feel much more durable as well.

2 답변작성자: Age of Electric 11/6/2015 5:44:38 PMI would have to say Elite, even though I don't own one. I bought a Scuff for my son a year ago and it already needs to be sent back for repair. Not impressed at all with this 'Pro' brand.

2 답변The Elite controller is partnered with scuff (patents and such) so the elite should be just as good if not better than scuff. Scuff is lighter in weight and the Elite will be slightly heavier because of the premium parts they use to build it.
