So if you nerf Titans...
Well, I can't believe Bungie would even do this in the first place. I mean nerfing the least used class in PVP? Wow. But it seems like they're headed that way from the last few updates.
Anyway, if you do nerf Hammer of Sol, what will you add to Sunbreaker? You are taking away from the class that's used the least in PVP, after all. And many would even argue that Titans are underpowered in the crucible, especially all through year one.
So what will us Titans get to stay competitive?
a) Bolt grenades
b) Blink
c) Twilight Garrison perk that replaces catapult. Since it's the the only thing Titans have that's close to blink, and the exotic chest piece isn't even obtainable.
d) Better melee range
e) Effect like flame shield or blink strike invisibility, that activates upon a hit, and not a kill, like force barrier does.
I've mained a Titan since the beta and i've tried all of the classes. I know from experience just how frustrating it can be to compete with things like bolt grenades, blink, and a long range melee.
So I'm asking cordially. What will Bungie give Titans, if they take away from their best PVP super?
[b]Check your grimoire crucible kills. I can almost guarantee that you've killed more hunters and warlocks in the crucible, than Titans. So yes, least played class. [/b]

Nevermind the fact that Titans have garbage Y2 exotics for Crucible, and the rest of the Sunbreaker class isn't that great. Basically Bungie expects Titans to be played like tanks, but yet they won't give them the tools to thrive with that playstyle. Bungie hates Titans, just look at the class-exclusives guns Titans got. However, what will happen is that the Nightstalker super will get buffed at some point because it isn't as strong as other supers in Crucible. The fact that the rest of the class is absolutely insane doesn't even matter.

Titan skating is easy and useful, although not as good for evasion as blink, if you haven't heard of it look it up. The melee range and speed definitley needs a change, this should not be different between the classes. The grenades on all 3 subclasses are actually very strong for the Titan, especially in comparison to the recent nerf to arc bolt, and they have the 2 best sticky grenades along with several other good ones like lightning, supression, incendiary, and flash bang grenades. The Sunbreaker subclass itself is actually very strong even without the super IMO, just not as good as the other Titan subclasses which have amazing non-super perks, and I also don't really understand why Titans think they got the short end of the stick in year 1 when they really had it all. They had Titan skating, which made them the most tanks and fastest class with minimal effort, they had the striker which had several good perks like shoulder charge, transfusion, juggernaut, and fist of havoc which were all strong, just not as strong as the Bladedancer and sunsinger subclasses. They also had an easy time on lfg with the defender, while hunters had to struggle without a support class. I still think they should have some compensation in fixing the melee and maybe buffing a few of the skills throughout the subclass to make it a little less super oriented (for example making explosive pyre apply to grenades and sun strike too), and buffing PVE damage to compensate for reductions in damage resistance and damage per hammer in pvp.

2 답변The only other quick ranged 1 hit kill super is golden gun and that class' shield isnt increased nor does it recharge on kill. Why do titans get crazy shield, damage reduction and shield regen on kill... If spec'd correctly they can survive a golden gun shot and rocket, what did bungie expect people outside of their supers to do... First super that people have to straight run from...thats saying something...oh yeah bullsh*t...

Warlocks always have range and on hit effects,The NS and GG charged melees are actually ranged and BD has big lunge and is super fast. Nothing changes for titans except damage output. Lift imo is the best jump in the game but a side step (think,hive knights) would be cool. Strikers and defenders are badass ppl just don't give them a real chance,I don't even SB because I find that a class that revolves around supering is pretty boring.

If Titan's get nerfed, they are basically saying Sunbreaker can not have a tank... which means all other classes would have to have their tank lowered when their supers are active. So as to keep your tanking class on top. Otherwise, they would also need to nerf the agility of Hunters as well. Since they are the best agility class... as well as recovery for Warlocks... since no one else can compare to them.

6 답변Fact if your only defense is the rest of the subclass sucks, you suck. Reasons - fusion gernade most annoying sticky gernade. Incendiary gernade can one shot and easily kill multiple people. The only class that has a literal one hit melee that can also kill multiple people. Health regen of off ANY ability kill. No other class has that. Fleet fire, increased reload and agility off of ANY ability kill. Melting point allows more damage than a tether can do. Simmering flames? Cool down time for melee and gernade cut in half? So more dps, gernades, one hit melee, constant health regen? Geez people The real thing is, the rest of the subclass doesn't suck. You just want it to be super destructive and stay op. Anyone who complains about the sublass being weak clearly doesn't know how to build a subclass.

Your grenades are very lethal, but trade out Thermite for Firebolt with no buffs added to it. Sure, take that exotic perk. I'm fine with it. But no Blink. Blinking SunBreaker? Lol no. You cannot have invisibility. It's special. Give me SC. See? Doesn't work that way. And change some of your Passives such as Simmering Flames and the other one.

Word to the wise. When people complained about thorn what happened? Huge overarching nerfs even on things no one was complaining about like G-horn and icebreaker. Remember all of the previous rebalancing? Do you really want to open that can of worms? If they get nerf happy, how do you think it will affect pve? I've never heard complaints about HoS during a strike.
