According to Deej, 820k people attempted Trials this last round.
According to Bungle, 25 million users have registered.
That's a participation rate of less than 1 in 25, which shows the desperate lie of boasting 25M registrations.
Companies only spin the facts when they're scared.
WoW has 75M registrations, but 5.5M active players.
The fact that Activi$ion and Bungle don't share how many active players there are only confirms what we all know:
Destiny is dying.
Ever think that maybe most people just don't like playing trials? Much of the player base is casual, and thus don't even feel tempted to try trials. I play every day and didn't even attempt it because I didn't think I was a high enough light level and didn't feel like getting destroyed over and over again by tryhards

1 답변작성자: Onionknight 11/6/2015 3:54:45 PMBungie won't ever release real numbers. The next couple of weeks will show Bungie's weakness. I'll bet a lot of the player base is about to throw duces. Just to add I've never played ToO, ain't got time for that, and I'm a day one.

2 답변maybe if one could actually matchmake trials the participation would be better , bungie creates artificial gameplay obstacles to the point many arent even bothering to overcome these , how hard would it be to add fkn matchmaking to a 500MILLION $ online game?

2 답변Its actually less than 1/30. You probably need to do your math homework. Its more like 5/152 attempted ToO. I was not one of them.

Some of us haven't tried it yet. No rush to get there. I haven't even done the KF raid normal yet. Taking my time so I'm not to bored. Plus I will also be playing Halo 5 and Fallout 4. Eventually Battlefront as well. I play all the games I like and don't have to be stuck in one game. I still log into Destiny every day.

It's this upcoming holiday that will push Destiny through the stress test. If a good, high number of active players still playing after Fallout 4, Black Ops 3, Battlefront, and countless other games have released, then no, it's not dying. But, I believe a very large chunk of the player base will be leaving for these games. Will destiny die out completely? No, I don't think it will. But will it lose its original hype and player base? Most definitely.

1 답변작성자: Syion 11/6/2015 2:53:48 PM777,000 tried the raid day 1 alone. A Friday. Almost Beat 4 days worth of combined ToO

2 답변Or it could just be that a ton of people don't play the damn ToO Most people don't play ToO, even if they're active. Most people don't raid, even if they're active. This is indicative of nothing other than that most people don't play Trials.

Looks like that's 24 out of 25 players who don't have time for bullshit. Regular PvP is bad enough, with network issues and crap rewards. I'm not going to waste my time on something that's almost guaranteed to an even less optimal experience.
