According to Deej, 820k people attempted Trials this last round.
According to Bungle, 25 million users have registered.
That's a participation rate of less than 1 in 25, which shows the desperate lie of boasting 25M registrations.
Companies only spin the facts when they're scared.
WoW has 75M registrations, but 5.5M active players.
The fact that Activi$ion and Bungle don't share how many active players there are only confirms what we all know:
Destiny is dying.
17 답변Wow what? Dude.. Trails goes online on the WEEKEND. Remember, weekend. Ofcourse people won't play 'cus many of us do have a life that we want to live whenever we're not working. If trails had been online for the 5 weekdays i'm sure the numbers would been much higher.

820k people in trails does not equate to every active player in destiny, infact the vast majority play PVE or general crucible. Trails isn't the be all and end all of this game or community, 25 million registered users is very good if not amazing for a game just over a year old, WoW has had over 10 years to get its number of players. These are the facts, not your misinterpretation of the numbers. I would like to know the number of active players, that would be better to judge the games state in terms of if it will keep up with the new games coming, halo 5 dropped the numbers abit, black ops is going to drop them and so will several others such as fallout 4 (which is what i will be playing)

You aren't getting it.... 25 million registered users = the game made massive dollars, add silver purchases on top of that (all amounts are in the top of ps4 downloads), what do you get? A game that can die whenever, because it's already a success.

작성자: harvin_s_dhillon 11/7/2015 12:13:17 AM25 million registered users only means how many people played/bought the game since. Even if they don't play or have sold the game they are still a registered users. Edit: should've read the full post.

3 답변They made their money though. Spent a few billion buying Candy Crush the other day and announced today that Activision/Blizzard will start making television programs. Sadly, they don't give a crap anymore who is still playing and who is not. It doesn't matter. It's onto the next cash grab. Microtransactions, Pay to Win, & more $20 DLC is the future for Destiny. Become Legend!

1 답변You sound like an idiot they reported 20 mill early this year and now have add further 5 mil granted all those people are people who spent 80 dollars on this game so probably a good number of this bought ttk The player base is probably around 7 mil so your a real idiot

3 답변The point is, if Bungie had numbers that were impressive, I promise you Actuvi$ion would be letting everyone know. 25M is a big number and is enough to impress idiots who don't think about it.

My Super Nintendo Entertainment System is dead. 49 million of the things sold worldwide but how many of those play it still? Your point? All games age and die over time. If 890k players attempted Trials, then that's good. That goes to show we still have many players, even if a smaller fraction is dedicated. This game isn't dead yet, it still has life.

4 답변I play Destiny for PvE I play CoD, Halo, and Battlefield for PvP. That's mainly because of the dedicated servers vs peer to peer

They never specified if registered users include beta players that never bought the game and users that downloaded a trial and never bought the game. You also have to include players that bought the game new/used and sold it or never touched it soon after. I'm assuming registered players with 1000+ grimoire would be half of all registered players, if even that.

They had almost a million people attempt there most challenging endgame content available, one that requires you to create your own team, and you think the game is dying? Just based on that 800k number, I'd guess you're looking at somewhere between 3-5 active users, minimum.

Let's say 1,000,000 players are still active (assuming that everyone can and want to play ToO is not realistic). That would make 4% players are left out of the initial 25 million. That's quite the loss of players imo.
