Who Are the Cabal?....
From what I have read, the next installment will be a Cabal DLC...
Hopefully we get to find out more of the lore surrounding the Cabal, What their mission is? Where they originate from? Who rules them? Because as far as I am aware the only thing we really know is that they are a massive military race that blow up planets for getting in their way! But that leaves open so many unanswered questions?!?!
Are they running from something? Are they trying to get somewhere specific? Are they only after resources to sustain their own? Who knows... Bracus, Valus & Primus.. Are these simply family names, are they hierarchy ranks?
I also like the mystery surrounding the Psion's, especially the flayers! I'm pretty sure from what I have read they are not cabal (Pretty obvious from their appearance) I have also read some theories that they are an enslaved race and that they are forced to wear their masks as shackles to prevent them from using the full extent of their powers, which I think sounds awesome! But then if they are so powerful how were they enslaved in the first place?? Another theory I read was that they are not actually enslaved but companion races with a common goal!
Anyone else heard anything interesting or got any cool ideas?...
Edit #1: Sorry guys forgot about the "Vex Void" DLC which is supposedly next in the line-up!

3 답변I actually heard that the cabal would be the next DLC. I mean, it makes sense. If you listen to the Two brothers strike you learn that you just killed the last ranking cabal members in our system, that mixed with the fact they just sent out a big call for help with their distress beacon. It makes sense they would be the next DLC. Some big fleet arrives to save the day. More like we kill them too. But you know-whatever.

1 답변Year One was the Year of the Vex, with a setup for the Hive, and a side of Fallen featuring Skolas (coveting Vex tech). Year Two is the Year of the Hive, with a setup for Cabal, and a side of Vex featuring Quria, Blade Transform (exercising the Sword Logic). Year Three will be the Year of the Cabal, with a setup for the Fallen, and a side of the Hive featuring Nokris, brother of Crota (???). Year Four will be the Year of the Fallen, with a setup for the Vex, and a side of the Cabal featuring ??? (???). We will then repeat the cycle, maybe in a different order. Year Nine will be the big setup with a mini feature of all the races (Strong emphasis on their relation to the worms/Darkness). Year Ten will be The Darkness. Those are my (extremely basic) predictions.

They have a giant freakin tank that's bigger than the one in halo 4! I want to fight that! Here's my raid idea:[spoiler] 12 person raid[/spoiler][spoiler] you load in and see a lonnnnggg trench filled with turrets, phalanxes, colossus, troopers, with tanks in the background adding artillery fire. They've seen you destroy gods, and their waiting for you ;) you have to break the line by sabotaging their power supply and calling in your ships to take out the tanks. Once you've killed the last tank all the cabal march out in a line toward you and you have to kill them all otherwise they will encircle you and shoot from all sides. [/spoiler][spoiler] then you see the giant tank coming and you have to hop on your sparrows and try to get away[/spoiler][spoiler] what do you think?[/spoiler]

Which probably means the distance their home world is away from earth correlates to how long the light from ancient rome would take to reach them. Idk They look a big like space marines but they have no lips, and their psions are tiny from the worm symbiote sucking out their physical strength.

This explains their body structure, their need to wear pressure suits, and the use of rockets to assist their movement on planets with comparably lower gravity. 2. The Psions are either a client race of the Cabal (think Turians / Volus) or a slave race. 3. They travel in the wake of the Darkness and conquer / occupy the worlds ravaged by the Darkness. The Fallen / Elksini have the common decency to scavenge what they need and move on. 4. The Cabal are thankfully at odds with the Vex and the Hive. We can take comfort that our enemies are not allies. 5. The Taken War will only draw more attention from the Cabal. They don't like to lose and will ultimately send reinforcements to support Cabal forces on Saturn and Mars. *cough* future DLC probably *cough* 6. We know from the Ghost Fragment: Cabal that there are sharp divisions in the Cabal hierarchy. Some Cabal commanders like Valus Ta'aurc seem to obey the mandates from their homeworld while others like Valus Trau'ug see themselves as supreme generals leading their own individual conquering armies. 7. The command structure of officers from lowest to highest rank seems to go Bracus -> Val -> Valus -> Primus. (Corrected)

7 답변They're essentially a mixture of whom they've conquered hence the term cabal, they're not a race but a war machine that picks up the best bits of their enemies and uses them to further their conquest. So as such have no real homeland we can speak of from what I believe the psions were a race they conquered and realised their power, the suits they wear limit this so they can be controlled and managed and are essentially a slave race made to wage war.
