Hey Bungie.
Thanks for all the fun times, all the hundreds on hours I spent in Destiny levelling up my subclasses, weapons and armour. Thanks for the amazing visuals, insanely satisfying and beautiful controls and movement mechanics. The scope of the gear was fun and explorable worlds were impressive to say the least. One of my favourite moments was solo-earning my sister her Pocket Infinity in a nightfall in year 1. Took me many straight hours of grinding but I finally got it. Another one was doubling Crota's End with my other sister in year 2. Only took a couple hours but it was still fun to finally get a completion. Getting Ghorn for my exotic in my first POE lvl 28. Getting massive kill streaks in crucible and sniper headshot clips to look back at. Super multi kills. Checking Xur on Friday mornings for something I couldn't get any other way. Finally getting my Hopscotch Pilgrim and the perfect roll. But that reminds me of why I left.
I left because you are disrespectful, and don't take many player's efforts or opinions into consideration when making changes.
Players were constantly locked out of content they had paid for. The raids had many bugs that went unfixed for ages. Weapon balancing is a continual and embarrassing circus of mistakes. Past end game and some current content has become meaningless (raids, Nightfall, PoE, and more). Players spend hours on getting something, or have it gifted to them by RNG and fall in love with it, but you take it away at a later date, completely destroying hours of playing time. Hopscotch, Gally, shotguns (although somewhat warranted, there are other fixes), Bladedancer, The Ram, all previous end game gear and materials. Crappy PvP connections from lack of dedicated servers. Completely broken and unbalanced weapons. Endless grinds with little to no meaningful rewards. Incoherent in-game story telling. No optional end game matchmaking, etc.
If you fix your game to respect the effort that people put into playing it, balance PvP, and provide dedicated support and service to your customer's blatantly obvious requests, I might come back some day. I deleted my characters because it's all worthless. I know if I come back that I can just catch up within a few hours and with a little luck, be right up where everyone else is. But it shouldn't be like that.
Please fix your game, and I'll play it again.
Edit: Thanks to everyone who's giving constructive and understanding feedback. Nice to see! I really hope this game is fixed and we can all enjoy it like we've imagined we could some day.
Edit 2: Regarding my Titan.
It's a level 2 people. Obviously I don't play. You can't delete all your characters, they force you to have one at all times, so I had to make a new one to delete my others. Also, I made a video to show one poster I actually did delete everything in my vault and on character.
Edit 3: Thanks again everyone for all the encouragement and thoughtful conversations. It's been great.

1 답변작성자: stratosHD_au 11/9/2015 2:45:45 PMMate, what really pissed me off is how they started removing gameplay from the people who didnt bought the expansion. I get it, new gear and level should only be usable for the ones buying new expansions, however zoning out nightfalls, dailys and finally crucible its really enraging.

20 답변God, why can't you just make a game where every gun is relevant forever! I want perfect hardware with 100% capability because I know you have infinite money. I want perfect systems in place that obviously is easy to do with your huge army of soul-less and live-less coders. This easy task like matchmaking has been achieved by every other game in existence so clearly you simply don't care about your players. I want new content frequently but I also want old content to be equally as good and constantly dynamic and refreshing. I want to get everything I want with no effort but have that feel rewarding until I ever (and should never) have a change of heart and opinion about the game. I know you are in your offices with a permanent middle-finger at your community and I want that to stop too. I want your production, publishing, designer, and development team to be in perfect sync, agree on everything, and produce a product in a time-frame that is inhumanly possible. Oh, and I want free healthcare, world peace, and a burrito whenever I snap my fingers. Be the Vex. I know you can do that too. You are a mythical creature known as a game company that is flawless and has no capability to grow, adapt, and learn. You need to exist beyond space and time to deliver us a product now that has evolved over the equivalent of eons of human testing and development.

6 답변I think a lot of people are leaving. Fallout 4 is coming, Halo 5 is already here, and there are more games on the way. This is literally the tip of the iceberg and the games that come out in the coming months will definitely draw from Destiny's player base. It won't kill the game, nor will it prove anything to the developers and community managers that continue to cover their asses and claim that everyone loves their perfect game. But who cares. We don't game to prove points, we play to have fun and I am definitely looking forward to playing my first Fallout on the One and putting my friends through the Halo Rite of Passage that is Tower of Power, Elite Sniper, Predator, and many other custom games from the Halo 2 days.

2 답변Sorry to see you go, but don't think you will be the only one. When the players are continually disrespected, their playtime held in contempt they will eventually wonder why they are bothering to log in each day. When cosmetic content, that you pay for, is no longer mistaken for actual gameplay content, more will move on. Maybe Bungie will realize that your fan base being loyal is comparative to you being loyal to your fan base, and make some changes. There is always hope, no matter how minuscule it may seem. Good Luck in the future, maybe one day I will see you once again playing the game we both know this could be.

4 답변2,417 hours and I'm done as well. Not bashing, just reached the end of my journey with destiny. It's a bittersweet feeling really, all the time, money, friends, and even micro transactions (I guess that goes with money) feel wasted now. I only wish Destiny was more evolved aside from the graphics, gun play, and character movements. It's a sad thing really because I love/loved (not literally, that would be sick and gross) the game, in the end though IMO it feels stale and very very grindy compared to what we were told or led to believe about future content pre HoW.

16 답변Guess what they dont care that you are leaving. Here is another fact they do not have to take every players views about what things should or should not be changed ever. It is their game, their rules. If you dont like it then leave, they wont miss you.

15 답변Can someone riddle me this? Why do you think we care? You are a stranger, a nameless face in a sea of people. Yet by some childish ignorance, you believe someone will give w damn that you quit for reasons that you previously put up with. If you really wanted to make a statement, you would have quitted much earlier, these problems aren't new. The purpose of these post are for attention which is why I can never respect them. Had you really wanted to change shit, you would have wrote a letter to Bungie, Made a detailed post on Reddit discussing the problems you had with Destiny and how to fix them or just simply quit. I reiterate. You made this post for attention and if you really, genuinely wanted to change something, this is the laziest, half assed way to do it. You are a smart man, you can't possibly think that people, especially Bungie thinks a person so desperate for attention cares you quit? You want an example of what to do when you want to change something? Malphisto. I hated that son of a bitch but he made compelling arguments in threads that addressed problems in Destiny in a way that drawed more attention to the problems and not Malphisto. You're free to voice your opinion, but the (supposed) purpose of your post is to bring attention to problems in Destiny. Yet, you felt the need to include a showy display equivalent to that of a child. This post was for attention, not to fix any problems and in the end, that's what it did. It gave you attention and accomplished nothing. That's all these post ever do.

3 답변You've now joined the Ranks of many others who have decided to take this route. Despite what people say, it is very important when you and others decide to go this route because you add to the collective majority of frustrated players. Thank you.
