Ok, how about this. Add a new event, The Reclamation of the Earth.
Every week, Bungie releases a Community Bounty that involves you taking the fight to the city below. These bounties would consist of challenges like:
"Kill 10 million Fallen and drive them out Guardian!"
"We need to recover our data, collect 1000 dead Ghost memory fragments so we can see what actually happened down here"
"The Cabal have set up bases throughout our city, find them, bury them."
The enemies would be slightly above raid level. Not only would this add challenge, it would give you PERMANENT end game content, and give you a REASON to want to be 320. A reason to keep pushing yourself to get better gear. With 18 people on the map, you could expect to see everything from 5-6 Devil Walkers on the ground at the same time, to armies of Arcon Priests roaming the streets. Imagine seeing about 30 dropships landing down all at once.
It would allow 18 people in a lobby and have matchmaking. 6 man Fireteams would be supported as well. The community would have that entire week to come together and conquer the bounty.
Doing so would unlock a section of the city, that would host new vendors, and an open area you could explore freely. As the weeks went on, you would continue to expand and gain content via The City.
Eventually you would unlock areas such as Hangers or Garages where you could customize your vehicles with parts salvaged from the open world. You could even visit clothes shops or hair salons to remake your character, for a fee of course.
With 52 weeks a year, a 10 year plan, and a massive, almost endless City below the tower, they could even incorporate this as a lasting event mode. At the end if 10 years we could have reclaimed our planet.
All of this would finally give the players a sense of progression. A sense of moving on, that you're winning the fight against the Darkness, and it would pull the community together to challenge Bungie and their Bounties.
I pray to God Bungie reads this, so if you support this idea, bump the holy hell out of this!

1 답변Having more than the Cosmodrome to explore and fight in would be cool; but I don't see it happening... Too much effort involved and Bungie doesn't seem to want to work too hard to get our money... Besides, this would take away valuable Tower decorating time and dumb emote making...lol

2 답변This sounds stupid honestly, 10 million fallen? That would honestly take hours of time that no one has, everyone complains about time and work and other duties and you wanna add such a time consuming bounty like that which will get boring as quick as TTK

작성자: CozmicClockwork 11/5/2015 4:02:10 AMGreat idea especially considering bungie replied. But I don't think it should take place in the city walls if its called "The reclaimation of Earth" it could be taking place all through out the cosmodrome or why stop at just Earth. I can see it now "reclaimation of the Golden age" and it would take place in all the patrol areas on the planets and I mean like special crap is happening everywhere, like on venus there could be a surge of vex coming from the vault of glass while a new kell from the house of winter had just risen and is threatening an assault on the city using vex technology. All 18 players or more all throughout the planet and what one group does directly affects what happens on another side of the map. Although trying to organize this would be tough so have the fireteam leaders be able to hear each other and each leaders' respective teammates as well. This would show who are the real leaders to bring us out of the darkness in a pve experience that rivals a raid. Oh and the induvidual teams of 6 would be found on your own time while each group of 6 would be matchmade with other groups.

But see the thing is there is only so many vendors you can have. Or else they would all sell the same thing and it would be pointless. Anyone could come up with things like this but they have to be realistic. I could say "Make a planet be 5x the size of all the Witcher 3 maps combined. Itll be awesome come on bungie" But its not going to happen

I also had a similar idea. Where you could spawn into a planet, much like spawning into a patrol, with a fireteam of 3 or 6. You run around the public areas eliminating wave after wave of "new" enemies that have invaded the planet. Some areas would be locked, just the main patrol areas would have enemies. A mini boss would be in certain areas. You get loot drops off for completing the certain areas of the world. You'd either have to diffuse a bomb or collect a certain amount of things to drive the enemies away. Of course with some sort of final boss at the end. After all planets are cleared it would unlock access to the mothership where you finally take out the main boss. Or you would find golden age relic and shoot the mothership out from the sky. Wouldn't have to change much. The scene is already set. They'd just have adjust the loot drops, bosses and enemies. Also would have to add the mothership. Or place the boss on some planet. Or how to build the weapon.

3 답변Please. As if BUNGIE actually listens to their community. You may as well be talking to a wall. They don't listen so why do you bother?
