In order to DPS Oryx on had mode, many require 5/6 members to have the Touch of Malice while Bungie released a gun that could serve the same purpose. Why not use the No Time to Explain puns rife? The exotic perk allows precision shots to return a shot to the magazine, so as long as your hitting Oryx's weak spot it should work just like Touch of Malice.
Will this work?

작성자: OurWildebeest 11/2/2015 9:41:02 PMI doubt it does nearly as much damage. Presumably, the average scout rifle headshot and the average pulse rifle headshot do similar damage in real-world scenarios. Let's assume both have unlimited ammo vs daughters. The difference is that ToM's final shot (which will be the large majority of shots fired vs daughters) does double damage. Vs Oryx, there are no crits, so it is moot.

작성자: TwoStickZach 11/2/2015 9:32:10 PMAlso does double damage though - while NTtE doesn't. ToM really isn't needed - I think it just gives teams a bit more breathing room. Shouldn't need more than 1-2 for normal mode. 3 should be fine for hard, right?

If you dont want to work for ToM, you could probably just use a 310 Sleeper Simulant. Should drop Oryx pretty hard if you get one or two shots off. I used SS before I got ToM. Hung Jury, 1000ys, SS should be good enough for hard mode if they are all over 305. SS would also be a better help for Ogres and Knights anyway so long as you have enough ammo.

4 답변A it's a pulse and does way less damage than a scout that is doing double damage. B) ToM is easier to get than NNtE. ToM has a clear quest line. All you have to do is beat normal and then do some farming and missions. And C) Oryx has no crit spot so A and B don't matter.

2 답변If I'm not using Blessing of Light in the middle to help kill Ogres, I'm not touching that gun. I'll use my 320 Smite and 315 Spindle, thank you very much. If you don't like it, I'll gladly leave your fireteam.
