Solution to "Touch of Malice required for Kingsfall hard mode"
In order to DPS Oryx on had mode, many require 5/6 members to have the Touch of Malice while Bungie released a gun that could serve the same purpose. Why not use the No Time to Explain puns rife? The exotic perk allows precision shots to return a shot to the magazine, so as long as your hitting Oryx's weak spot it should work just like Touch of Malice.

1 답변Hitting oryx in the chest doesn't count as a precision hit. Otherwise spindle would be best for it.

Malice is amazing for oryx, there's no better replacement. I have a 310 no time and it doesn't even come close. You're missing out on the beauty of it if you haven't found your fragments. If you're hosting a raid you can require whatever you please. I know that a month and a half in I don't want to spend 4 hours in there for one run.. If you can't take the time out of your day to get the malice, why should you take the time of 5 other players while you're struggling at oryx?

6 답변Anyone who "requires" ToM probably tries "cheesing" oryx with the no knight strategy. They're the same people who can only function according to what YouTube videos and guides show them lol.... Unable to form opinions and strategies on their own, they become incapable of adapting and thus the ridiculous requirements begin to surface.

10 답변I don't understand people... Gjallahorn was RNG based. ToM you can get it if you put in the work. People don't want to put in the work so they complain on the forums about not being able to get in. Yes I know that part of the ToM quest is to beat the raid. Do it on normal and use your sniper to stagger Oryx. No Time To Explain won't work because Oryx doesn't have a critical spot. It's almost closing in on 2 months since the normal raid come out. While they're playing Destiny they can get some calcified fragments at a time for ToM. Literally it's a 310 exotic that's designed for the raid. Bungie wants to make you work for it and not get it by RNG like Gjallahorn. Why can't people just spend 30 minutes of their playtime to get a few to several calcified fragments? It blows my mind.

Oryxs weakspot is NOT a percision hit. Therefor the no time to explain will NOT work. It will work on sisters though. However the DPS will be lower. Because the TOM does double damage at the cost of health. Also unlike the horn, ToM does not required RNG to acquire. A move bungie most likely did on purpose to ensure that everyone CAN have one because it was designed for the raid.
