Solution to "Touch of Malice required for Kingsfall hard mode"
In order to DPS Oryx on had mode, many require 5/6 members to have the Touch of Malice while Bungie released a gun that could serve the same purpose. Why not use the No Time to Explain puns rife? The exotic perk allows precision shots to return a shot to the magazine, so as long as your hitting Oryx's weak spot it should work just like Touch of Malice.

Sadly no. Oryx doesn't have a crit spot so the perk won't activate meaning that you will still have to reload. Basically there is no reason players who are doing hard mode don't have ToM yet. YouTube guides for all 45 fragments will take you an hour or so to collect, hadium flakes about 20-30 minutes, the rest from there is easy, the missions tied to the quest line are really easy also.

you don't need that many people running malice. especially if you have a titan using weapons of light. second oryx doesn't have a crit spot. the black orb you shoot flinches him the moment it takes any damage. and it's not a crit spot. his normal chest (all the white stuff) isn't a crit spot either and purely relies on just damage.
