THIS BLOODY KILL 25 PLAYERS WITH A SWORD IS DUMB
I hate this I hate pvp with a passion and I'm forced to do this to get my sword ya know what bungee screw you
Edit: Apparently I'm just bad and didn't know hilt kills counted. Thank you all for the help and yes I am very new to destiny.

I was dreading this part to be fair but actually ended up really enjoying it. Just take ur time and get a few at a time, and it will soon mount up. My last kill I ended up running round with just my hilt for the whole game hoping someone would slip up and they certainly did :)

Had fun doing it on mayhem clash. I used my warlock on the void blade. A buddy was on a defender Titan with the perk for enhanced protection while inside the bubble. He'd pop his bubble and I'd wait inside it for people to come in. Easy sword kills.

I found it easy to complete it when the mayhem playlist is up. The heavy ammo spawns more often and it drops from enemies Also I picked each sword on the character With the strongest abilities so the kills wont take forever. Solar blade= Sunbreaker Arc blade= bladedancer Void blade= voidwalker

Its actually easy but will ruin your K/D LOL. No ammo needed, just swing away, just be sure to get close enough because as you run up on them and swing your toon will stop forward progress and you will miss then get destroyed.

7 답변That's not the maddening part of the quest though. Wait until you need to farm ability kills and rare materials.

2 답변Not sure if anyone has said this but if you upgrade your legendary sword to 280 and max out the perks, you can do multiple swords on the same character. I did all three on my hunter and it only makes you do the crucible part once.

2 답변...I thought grinding for matt's during the "golden age" of destiny was tedious...i was wrong grinding for matt's for the sword quest is the worst.... I wasted 2hrs and only got two lousy relic crystals... The 25 kills in crucible was kinda fun tho...

Simple, play as a Defender. Drop your bubble next to a heavy crate so the enemy will laugh at you, then proceed to wreck face as they try to rush you once they've realized you can still loot the crate from within the bubble. Usually got 3-5 sword kills per crate, and it is fun as hell to watch them shit a brick as you drag the ammo back inside the bubble.
