Why the hell did Bungie make PvP more important than PvE? A huge part of the playerbase only play PvE.
-In trials you can get 311+ exotics, never seen one or is reported getting it in hardmode Oryx
-In trials you can get 311+ artifact reported in several threads in the forums, not possible in hardmode Oryx
-In trials you can get much easier 310+ gear, you don't even have to win! - Through bounties
-You can do the raid once a week per char, trials you can grind for 4 DAYS!! - After going flawless you can get a new trials card and get rewards.
-You can actually get amazing weapons out of trials, whereas raid weapons are infusion material.. - Most people agree that trials weapons having better base stats, whereas raidweapon perks are half assed.
Like seriously WTF Bungie?
Edit: I like having PvP in Destiny don't get me wrong. Thing is I bought and play the game since the emphasis was mostly on PvE. Bungie tends to shift it to PvP. That would make me (and I guess lots of people) switch to other games (MMO's) which I can play cooperatively.
Edit 2: Interesting opinions. Obviously it comes down to player preferences and experiences with trials and raids on some points altogether. Some say PvP is harder other a full team of 6 in PvE
Edit 3: Trending! So I guess some people ask themselves the same question ;)
Edit 4: Replies are going out of hand. Lots of acknowledgement and different opinions. But guys please read the whole post AND the comments before you just write absolute nonsense. Different opinions obviously are always welcome.
Edit 5: Some adjustments for better comprehension
Edit 6: I want to add a quote which is spot on:
Well destiny is a PvE game with PvP on the side. If the best stuff in the game could only be achieved by playing PvP, then Bungie swapped their priorities. I think everyone knew when this game came out that it would be more centered on PvE for the loot and pvp to show off that loot. Not the other way around
Edit 7: Some people saying that challenge modes will probably have higher gear for PvE. Well details for this mode will reportedly come 'in several weeks'. Me for my part won't be playing Destiny than anymore.

3 답변PvE princesses lol. If you really want better stuff then do both? I don't know, but that makes sense to me lol. Trials is not very difficult, probably easier than the raid lmfao. And it's not a game based on PvE..... It was intended to be both. That is why we have a crucible, with things like iron banner and trials of Osiris.

작성자: Larza83 11/4/2015 11:31:43 PMBungie has to favor PvP, because that is the end game content that have to keep the players occupied until their next big DLC reveal when it is all about a new pointless PvE story with a new currency and endless grind.

2 답변I think some information you have may be off. Now I went flawless on all 3 characters last week and I noticed something. Gear from packages drop 300-310 and flawless gear is 310-320. The gear isn't amazing persay but more pvp built then other weapons (makes sense). And finally the point you make about having 4 days to grind is wrong. Once we reach flawless the only gear you can get is armor that dosent drop over 300.

16 답변작성자: Pure 11/2/2015 4:22:30 PMHow in the hell is pvp being focused on more than pve? There is so much more pve content by far than there is for pvp. "Story" missions, Strikes, Raids, Queens Wrath, PoE, CoO, Patrols, a million more quests for them too. All Pvp has is trials and Iron Banner. Extremely limited amount of maps, and IB is pushing it because it's literally control with level advantages. This shit should have always had a playlist with level advantages. A hard core if you will. This game has always been PVE focused. Trials is for the dedicated pvp players. Those are Bungie's words. They need their own endgame type event because not all of them give a single shit about shooting AI's. Rewards? The most consistent way by an extremely huge margin to get 310+ gear is through the raid. I made it to the lighthouse 3 times this weekend, and my only 310+ drops were from the lighthouse chest. Over 6 hours of my time to get 3 primaries. No armor. No other guns. That was the end of my 310+ rewards. I got a truth from a silver package. All my exotics drop at 310 anyways so I'm not seeing how that's relevant. Where exactly are you pulling this nonsense from? This game literally shoves PVE down your throat. Gtfo. Edit: Challenge mode isn't even here yet for Oryx and apparently it's still pvp focused. And I can assure you the drops will be even higher than that of trials.

4 답변Surely PvE is more important for the 'Plotline' than PvP, if we're supposed to be driving back the darkness, and we're all killing each other over heavy ammo instead, the Fallen are going to take the city with no effort at all. So I agree, Trials of Osiris has, and does reward the best (and much to my annoyance, coolest) gear, and I fail to understand this, with regards to the plot, this seems irrational.

I will disagree and here is my point. When you need to grind for exotics/legendaries you do heroic strikes. Black spindle, Sleeper Stimulant, ect. Several exotics are only reachable through PvE play. Your argument for better loot drop in trials is probably true. But most exclusive content and shear drop rates are better in PvE.

작성자: LatinLegacy 11/4/2015 4:09:33 AMWhen the challenge mode drops, odds are a majority of what is obtained from trials will be obsolete. As it should be for PvE content anyways. I respect the fact that they want to put the spotlight on PvP at times but lets be honest here, a large portion of PvP'ers, especially on the Xbox One side, have already jumped ship to other games. Mainly Halo 5 on the Xbox One. Many others, including myself, will be leaving for Fallout 4/Black Ops 3. I am almost certain that is when Bungie will swing the spotlight back to PvE content as catering to PvP players will be pretty pointless once all of the November game releases drop. They WILL be playing other games.

4 답변Few things: 1. 311+ exotics are only a possibility from the silver and gold packages. While I agree it is unfair that they only drop in trials, they don't drop for everyone. 2. Picking up a new card will not grant more rewards if you are on the same character. You can only get 1 weapon, armor piece, and flawless run per character per week. Things like the beetle emblem, ship, class items, lower tier armor, and shaders can drop after any game, and is not relative to how many wins you have. It's the same as it was during HoW. 3. The only way to get 310+ gear in trials is to either get lucky with your packages (not likely) or go flawless. Most legendary armor from packages will be below 310. 4. None of the trials weapons are worth anything except the scout rifle with that amazing deadshot luna archetype. The auto rifle is worse than atheon's epilogue and the hand cannon doesn't do damage for sh*t, while the pulse rifle is the exact same thing as Nirwen's Mercy except with less stability. I wish you PvE'ers would get out of your little bubble. There are people who almost exclusively play crucible on this game, and it's nice that they have something fun to do too which actually rewards them for playing well. I feel like the only reason kids like you get mad at trials is because it makes crucible relevant and it reminds you of how bad you are at it.

1 답변Unfortunately, it always has been. Look at the way they go about things. Look at the people they truly listen to. Pvp dominates both. Do you really think weapon nerfs are based on how fast you kill that dreg or captain? The ignoring of drop rates and bugs in raids for over a year now. It hurts, but there's isn't enough pve to sustain the game and they know it. So they look to the pvp players. The ones that don't care and that will continue to psi so long as they get quests, weapons, armor, and benefits that cater to them. They are the "loyal" group, and as long as they get a new map every once in a while and show how "pro" they are, they're more than happy to call the shots.

4 답변Your just now realizing that Bungie doesn't care about PvE lovers like you and me? The countless nerfs, patches, etc that effect PvE negatively with the purpose of improving PvP simply boggles the mind. I can confidently say that their claims that they test every effect in their entire sandbox, they really mean "herp dee derp derp we only care about PvP and money herp dee derp derp."
