Beware Bungie. Fallout 4 is coming.
Fallout is coming, and I am ready to quit your farm, after a year of grinding. Opinions?

1 답변Definitely ready for Fallout 4. As for the "Beware Bungie" part.... Bungievi$ion could care less about player losses. They appear to be heading toward being a niche game. They are going to fill the 'fireteam based, no matchmaking co-op game". Every decision Bungie has made over the last 3 months seems to indicate this. They do not care because Destiny has already made them millions in profit. By going to a fireteam multiplayer co-op format only they can reduce the need for creating new content and apir down their development teams. The only people still actively playing are that crowd anyway.

I will still do my weekly nightfalls and maybe a raid here or there, but I will definitely be spending most of my time in the next few weeks playing Fallout 4. I think I will make a faceman this time instead of a sniper or unarmed specialist; see if I can talk my way out of everything.

1 답변Oh I'll be hooked on Fallout for a while, but there's no denying I can continue to come back to Destiny. Just means it'll have to share game time with Fallout now for me.

1 답변If your ready to quit then why don't you quit? There are a bazillion games out there to play besides Destiny, plus real life. I don't understand why people will continue to play a game that they find no joy in playing. Stop waiting for the next big game and just go play something else. There is only person responsible for your happiness and that is you. If you are miserable doing something that is on you, go be happy.

2 답변Some will leave but fallout is a very different type of game, so it may not be as noticeable, and most that do leave will probably come back for their fps fix.

1 답변Not just Fallout either. Halo is here as well as Battlefront and Black ops. Most people are done with most of TTK and some like myself are simply bored with it. With my copy of Fallout reserved and Battlefront on the gamefly queue its gonna be a long time before Destiny goes back into my PlayStation. If it ever foes. Destiny is going to bleed players like crazy of the coming months.

While the appeal of Fallout 4 is much greater for me than all these other multiplayer games that have been released, Fallout 4 is a game I can play on my own time, offline and has little to offer once you've explored everything. Granted, there is replay value in there and it's a game I'll play on and off for quite some time. Destiny replaced WoW for me and while it's a poor excuse of an MMO, it's much more casual friendly than a decade of WoW was. I don't feel like I have to be online every day or I'm screwing myself out of some perceived progression. That said, nothing replaced WoW for a decade. Not Fallout 3/NV, not Dragon Age: Origins and no FPS game took me away more than a few days. I had a few hiatuses from the game, some of which were personal, some professional, but I always came back for the new goodies.

3 답변Of what. Halo didn't even make dent. How will fallout be any different heh. Destiny is a crazy popular game and it will stay so for a long time. Because at its core it just gets shooting alians in face so dam right. For sure it needs to work on its hooks a little more but at its core it's a very solid experience

1 답변The game play is too similar between the two titles, so most people won't want to take the time to relevel their characters. Also, Fallout multilayer has no matchmaking, and is notoriously bad at spawn placement. Also, the leveling systems are too similar. Also, what is this Fallout anyhow? Probably some rts or something, in that case I want to command the goblin race.

Fallout 4 will 100% be a -blam!-ing amazing ass game. No doubt. No doubt I will stop playing destiny for awhile. No doubt I'll probably be back to destiny every reset day and armsday every week. Hell maybe even trials sometimes (though probably not).

1 답변Fallout is coming... but people will still play this game relentlessly guy... Bungie will just throw in an event or timelocked piece of gear to sorta compete with the release of FO4, but the only game thats going to get people to stop playing destiny? is Destiny 2.

Fallout is indeed coming, and I'm going to play it and I expect it'll be great. I'll still play Destiny too though because why not? They're different experiences - one is entirely single player, one is multiple multiplayer modes.

You do realize that you can play more than one game. I have been playing MGS5, but it has a definite end. Destiny will always be going on in the background. Fallout 4 is no competition for Destiny. Final Fantasy XIV, yes. Fallout 4 is going to be amazing, but not so consuming that you can't do your weekly raids and etc.
