343 Industries just pulled a year one Destiny
For those that have completed halo 5 campaign, surely you can empathise with me when I say, this is one of the worst endings I've [b]ever[/b] witnessed for a game with a seemingly good story to begin with.

This is what happens in the end mission:
(Catch up; cortana is evil. All you need to know)
> free Master Chief (As locke) from Cortana
> Cortana teleports away
> cortana terrorises earth in mass EMP
> basically your whole 'crusade' is pointless
> heroes survive
> story ends with chief and locke walking into a tent.
> unsc infinity warps away leaving earth (I think its earth, a populated planet anyhow) vulnerable
> Screen goes black.
> Credits.
THERE IS NO POINT TO THIS STORY OTHER THAN SAVING MASTERCHIEF (yeah he's kinda important) but literally nothing you do in the end effects the outcome of what would happen if you simply didn't bother.
Its late, I'm fuming and cant be arsed reading over what I just wrote. Ignore Grammar mistakes.

I mean I had fun, but I kinda lacked something that would make me play it for more then a week. Maybe its bcoz Iam not a Halo guy and never was, but the guns and gameflow didnt catch my attention... Quite the oposite tbh. I liked it way more then any CoD or Battlefield tho.

2 답변Does the walking into a tent scene have brokeback mountain background music. If so then that's a major twist. Locke is actually just pursuing a love interest and after 10 years or whatever Halo fans suddenly find their hero is gay. Haha

6 답변wtf why is no one talking about how the -blam!-ing trailers were nothing but lies they made it seem like it was gonna be Spartan vs Spartan and it was nothing like the way they hyped the game i mean really one -blam!-ing fight through out the whole game its like the trielers promise a totally different game why is no one taking about this

5 답변Go read the books. The whole Halo series campaign was a nice touch to the overall story, but the real beef is in the books. No developer could recreate the depths of the book series. I see the Halo series as nice campaigns, but the multi-player pvp is where it's at.

Halo campaign died for me after halo 3. When Bungie sold halo to Microsoft I stopped caring about halo and I didn't play another one after that. So I've been out of the franchise until about 3-4 months ago when I bought mcc after they fixed the pvp. I got bored of destiny and playing some og halo I thought would help my destiny game. It definitely did and I missed halo. So day one on a whim I buy halo 5 purely for the multiplayer. I didn't even touch the campaign yet and I honestly may not touch it. I'm loving the multiplayer and having a lot of fun in a real challenging game. I love the ranking system. I would grind for ranks all day long. Plus the pistol feels awesome. It's a real solid shooter. Still undecided on how it feels to og halo. However there is still a significant skill gap involved in the game which I'm excited about.

4 답변I regret spending 100€ on it. I also hate the fact that there are barely any snipers to pick up in the campaign. Pvp sucks in halo.

2 답변On legendary difficulty there is a scene after the normal last scene which is just a halo ring activating what could it mean?

5 답변Just don't be mad about a cliffhanger. Because that is how halo 2 ended. And you never have a REAL choice in how halo games ended. Only what weapons you brought with you. I haven't finished and honestly didn't read for spoiler reasons.
