They got tweaked way too hard.
It's my favorite weapon class but it has become nearly unusable in PvE because of the ammo reserves and in PvP because of poor accuracy.
Pre 2.0 exotic Handcannons were the ones that desperately needed a nerf, legendarys were perfectly fine and nobody complained about them.
I do not understand why bungie had to ruin them..

Lets make this trending, bungie needs to know!
Edit 2:
Rick Kackis Waterstar review is a perfect example showcasing the bad accuracy.

Weekly update announced a weapon balance patch coming in december, lets hope handcannons will get fixed!

Love Hand Cannons and Scouts! Problem with hand cannons now is the limited rounds and range. I have a bunch of Hand cannons but out of all of them, Hawkmoon is still my favorite with its range and 13 rounds! It's Fire rate and reload speed just work for me and I have a specific set of HandCannon gloves and Chest to keep me effective and doing my part in the Fireteam. My Cocytus Scout (High impact Low RoF) hits hard but is limited to 13 rounds also so if I need more close to medium range damage, I grab the Hawkmoon. The 3 bonus damage rounds just help drop thinhs even faster. Cocytus is still my long range weapon.

작성자: KidSixXx 11/4/2015 5:25:51 PMSigned. The Reserve Ammo and Accuracy nerfs that allegedly balanced them in PvP now makes them a chore to use in PvE. I routinely go ammo count black for my primary when fighting zealots from range with a Hand Cannon because the damage dropoff is so severe.
