Gambling for the blue skull
There's no place in destiny for rng based luck when you're dealing with real money. That's basically gambling. Younger sibling (who is a minor) spent well over $80 trying to get the blue Skull mask only to not receive it.
P.s. it was his money. Nobody is arguing for a refund. However, the question of whether a minor should be allowed to basically gamble their money away is being asked here.
P.p.s. It's a scumbag system period. It preys on individuals who are too naive to know best. It is a matter of ethics and clearly that is at the bottom of the priority list for any big corporation.
P.p.p.s. Ok this is a made up scenario lol. I just love this community <3 . Everyone jumping to insult a minor... you guys are the best.
[spoiler]I'm sure there are people who spent this much attempting to get the mask. It wouldn't be such a big deal if it was a ftp game. However, most of us have spent $100+ for the game in its current state and bungievision still feels the need to implement a filthy cashgrab system like this? How can everyone be ok with this?[/spoiler]

1 답변I don't care for the RNG element being incorporated into real monetary transactions. It is gambling with real money. However, you are signing as an adult to make the purchase.

2 답변Just FYI I believe no child is gonna have an arm card or credit card. If the parents are to stupid to check their accounts to make sure their children are wasting money on gambling as you say, hen those are terrible parents and they deserve to lose their money.

1 답변How about this is put into the life lessons catagory. Gambling isn't smart. The only time anyone should gamble is for the simple entertainment value and be prepared to lose all that you invest as the subjected cost of said entertainment. To simplify so that even a child can understand: [spoiler]if you gamble be prepared to lose all that you risk.[/spoiler]

1 답변Situations like these are exactly why their latest approach is totally unethical. Young people with access to button spending and an in game gambling system is a real issue. I'm pretty much done with this game.
