Raid sniper?
Having gone through the raid a couple times fully, and more than a few partially, I have a question on snipers...
I have been told, or given the advice, that 1k stare or eirene (high impact snipers) are the best for WP and GG and the raid sniper is terrible ... Yet here comes the wipe screen and who was doing the most dps? Yeah. So does that +dmg to taken enemies matter that much? We are usually at comparable light and gear levels give or take.

If you are cycling between the raid lmg, the raid scout or pulse, and the raid sniper the damage of those will be similar to black spindle provided you are taking full advantage of the cocoon perk. However, Black Spindle is higher and if it is not doing as much as someone cycling weapons it is due to their own error and need to "git gud."

When I play with my main raid team I fall a little behind when they use their black spindles and I use my favorite 1000-yard stare, although not a lot. But when I play with other's that are are not as good even though they are also using the black spindles I usually end up doing more than them. Things happen. If you are keeping up with everyone else and get past it and are not dragging the team down then use what you want. For noobies looking to join the raid I usually suggest the easily attainable 1000-Yard Stare from the Vanguard Quartermaster which is what i've used since the raid came out.

If you can still buy the 1000 yard with triple tap I'd purchase it. if you haven't got a decent sniper it comes in handy with basically a 5 mag clip if you can land 3 precision shots quickly and the extra one is free basically as it doesn't chew reserve ammo

1 답변Are you using it with other raid weapons? Are you using the cocoon perks together correctly? If yes to both, you may be sustaining DPS more efficiently than some others in your group.

2 답변I know yasmin has a lower impact, so that's why I am wondering about the taken dmg perk or... Am I being more efficient with my dmg? I use a HMG as well to switch and make use of cocoon.

1 답변It's not bad. Cocoon is an ok perk I guess. I swap it with Hung Jury and seem to do pretty good dps.
