Elemental primaries are being left behind. They had the distinct and undesirable property of limiting a broad weapon sandbox to a few weapons.
You're free to disagree, but I strongly prefer the breadth of arsenal options, the potential of finding a better Legendary than you have to being stuck because of a damage color.
Additionally, no Legendary weapons with damage colors has the property of making secondaries and heavies more important because of their damage color.

2 답변Didn't u know we're still testing this game? Obviously with all the endgame glitches, reforging, useless materials, useless raids, no more elemental primaries, bungie still has no idea what they are doing. We test it and all of a sudden there like o we -blam!-ed up. Let's fix it in a month or so. There community managers whose job is to know about the game, have slack characters and seem like they rarely play. It's ur job have three different characters and know all the nuances of the game.

I am in favor of this. Legendary kinetic primaries never had a use. And exotic primaries were never worth using in pve because most had no burn. I enjoy that I can go into a nightfall using juju or no time to explain and not feel like I'm being slammed for not taking the optimal load out.
You're free to disagree, but I strongly prefer the breadth of arsenal options, the potential of finding a better Legendary than you have to being stuck because of a damage color.
He wouldn't say this unless he knew most of the community would disagree. Which means Bungie is saying that they don't care what the community wants in this regard. They want you to play the way they want you to play. Other than getting to max level, what now it is the point of grinding the raid (or simply because you enjoy it. obviously)? You don't need to be max level to enjoy all of the game. I mean, when the next DLC drops, you will be able to buy higher level gear anyway and keep playing the game. I grinded the previous raids to get the elemental primaries I wanted to do Nightfalls, which was the primary way to collect Exotics. I feel like they have taken away a very strong incentive to grinding the raid.

2 답변Then make it so you can infuse any elemental primary you want into any other primary you like and steal it's element. Clear solution. But it cannot be changed afterwards, and obviously it still has to follow all infusion rules.

10 답변I don't care that they took them out, but I will say this. Anyone who believes they removed elemental primaries to keep "weapon variety" is lying to themselves. They removed elemental primaries, for the same reason they lowered our bonus damage on burns. The game is too easy, and elemental primaries make it that much easier. By removing elemental primaries, they artifical ly increase game difficulty. Now they get to say "hey look at our game, it's challenging, and it will take you a minute to beat it".

4 답변It wasnt really the elemental perk that did it. It was the rolls on the gun. Fatebringer overall was just a awesome gun. Yeah the arc burn made it better but firefly and fast reload was amazing

3 답변Unfortunately this isn't the case. Bungie likes to take away anything that benefits the player as much as they can

Why didn't they just make all legendary weapons have elemental damage? Or make the ones with elemental less powerful then you have a trade off use elemental to take shields down fast or use higher damage to take them down that way...another option would be to make the elmental burn a node so you lose a perk but you get a burn for that loss.

1 답변작성자: chickengoujohn93 10/24/2015 4:10:10 PMProbably the most solid PvE loadout in Destiny: Zhalo Supercell (Arc) - RNG 1000 Yard Stare (Void) - Taken War Earth Reward Quillums Terminus (Solar) - Raid Reward at Warpriest and Oryx with Moldering Shards All are great weapons and cover the three Elements.

4 답변Pardon me but I agree with the decision of removing elemental from primaries. As match as I loved them once Ive had them there was no reason to use any other weapon on PvE. Everything got dismantled without second thought. Now every gun has a chance to shine! P.s. There is always ZHALO...

1 답변I'm fine with them taking away elemental primaries because like he said it definitely did lower the active pool of weapons just because of the weapon having a color by its damage. Getting rid of raid elemental weapons is fine by me but I do kind of wish they implemented a drop in the raid that gives you an elemental core that you put on any primary you want so all weapons can have an element so it doesn't lower the active pool of weapons at all.
-
5 답변What they should have done is make an item called an elemental core. When you get a weapon with an elemental damage type, you can dismantle it, get the specific core, and then infuse it into another weapon.

11 답변To me, it's not so much that the elemental primaries are gone. It's just that, other than the machine gun, the raid weapons are "meh" at best. There's a breakdown in weapon progression in TTK, rare's are better than commons, legendaries are better than blues (for the most part), then you have some exotics that have a worthy place in slot over some legendaries and then raid weapons fail at replacing anything, they aren't even really needed for the raid. IMO, Bungie needs to re-do them. All of them. Every single one i've had drop, other than the MG has been used to infuse. I don't care so much about the element damage just give me a raid weapon that makes me say "I need that!!"

4 답변I just liked being able to have one of each element equipped without having to switch items and lose ammo. Now it seems you can only choose two of the three elements at a time, unless you are going to use the z-halo all the time, which I will probably not do.
