What happened to fighting your way through a strike? Everyone seems to rush past the enemy and straight to the boss, what's the point? If you're in a Strike list, you clearly enjoy playing for a while so why rush to the end?
It pisses me off when 2 guardians abandon the 3rd to reach the boss first as if it makes them better at the game or they think they'll get better drops?
Rant over.
I've played since alpha stage. I'm not new to the game. I've played more strikes than you.
I should have known better than to post my annoyance here to trolls to masturbate to
What happened to fighting your way through a strike? Everyone seems to rush past the enemy and straight to the boss, what's the point? If you're in a Strike list, you clearly enjoy playing for a while so why rush to the end?
I agree, I always tell them that, it's supposed to be a team game, not a race. In every strike we always see 1 (or more) selfish immature asshole racing ahead of his team, ignoring his team, just to get more kills, just to steal kills, to show his mom. It's annoying. Other MMOs, like Neverwinter, have the same problem. Just look at your thread, look at the huge amount of braindead immature people who try to give excuses for this obnoxious behavior. I get the grind, I understand limited time, those are not excuses to act like immature selfish assholes who race ahead of the team. If they see the game as a chore, as a job, not as a game anymore, it's not fun anymore, time to find a new game. The purpose of a game is to be fun, not to be a chore. In my opinion, Bungie also has a part of the blame because they put a scoreboard in the end comparing kills so these immature kids try hard to race and get more kills than their team to be 1st on the scoreboard at the end. I think companies should come up with innovative steps to reduce this racing problem as much as possible, in what's supposed to be a cooperative team experience, in reality, it's never cooperative cuz the assholes don't know how to play as a team, they ruin the game for others, they make it competitive, trying to get more kills than their team.

It is a grind after doing the same strikes over and over, it's like if your boss said you will get paid for 10 hours of work, you can get it done quick and get paid for 10 hours doing 8 hours of work. On the other hand you can move slow, and work for 10 hours. You still get paid the same. Either way it's a choice. Sometimes I just don't want to sit there for an extra 30 seconds taking down trash mobs that I can find in patrol if that is what I like.

because I'm just doing them to get exotics and legendarys quick and they drop more on the bosses this is why I prefer playing with my mates on the playlist and not randoms coz when I'm on with mates we all have the same goal lets get as many strikes done soon coz one or more of us has work so we want to get as many down before we need to leave lol

Strikes are a huge grind. Only reason to do them is to get specific strike drops and exotic engrams. Both of which usually drop from the final boss battle. Why waste my precious destiny time killing all the adds or waiting for some random lollygagger? They will get summoned for any important battles anyways

2 답변If I'm rushing it's usually because I have been grinding that same strike a hundred times for the exclusive loot and I want it to go as fast as possible
-
Becuase when your doing strikes in a row for exotics or for the chance of a legendary drop you want to complete as many as possible before your either tired or have other responsibilities to attend to Also your not my mom I'll do what I want

This is why i prefer doing strikes with friends instead of randoms. I like being on the same page. I used to kill everything, but like some people said, a lot of these strikes are the same ones over and over. Gets annoying. But i understand his complaint. No need to gang up on him.

Dude we do these strikes dozens of times and now we have strike specific drops no one wants to wait for a person who wanna kill everything when you don't have to. Once you do a objective and the door opens why still there killing ads get yo ass over here

3 답변I personally have completed all the strikes dozens of times. I dont go into strikes to get kills. I go for rewards. Sorry to the people who are doing it for the first time and need to kill every last add making the strike last 4 times as long. If i wanted to just kill things id go to patrol. Its simple really. Unlimited enemies. UNLIMITED.

1 답변When 2 people out of 3 do something, you follow the team. If you are the 1 person not doing it, you are the problem not them. A huge part of teamwork is working in the team, you weren't part of the team at any time in your story but have the audacity to act like you were the offended party.

Nobodies got time to sit in the same strike for ages. I'd rather rush through, get the strike done, receive my reward and go onto the next one. Not stay still, kill enemies when I don't have too and then proceed. I can get more S/h the quick way (Strikes per hour). That means more rewards and less time grinding.

What ya should be salty about is how there's 10 different strikes yet ya end up doing 2 or 3 back to back to back again. Whens its like that ya can't help but jus wanna run thru it fast as ya can. Gets old real fast.

2 답변Some assholes rushed ahead on Echo Chamber. I got stuck having to fight to everything on my own. Once the game warped me ahead to auto join them I grabbed the orb and sat in a corner behind a column. Any time they thought they were saving was lost. Moral of the story: Don't -blam!-ing leave people behind.
