Anyone else hate when people say anime is weird?
People always say anime is weird. It pisses me off because they only think that it is henti. Well its not people need to actually look at something and watch it before you say its bad or wierd.

Edit - soooo someone said that im "angry". Well story time guys, *cough* *cough* ok so i was doing the raid (KF btw). And a guy said "OMG NOOO NOT ASUNA". Right after that asked if he liked anime and he said "-blam!- yea man". Right after that me and him got yelled at by another teammate and both of us where insta kicked.
edit - i didnt explain correctly i mean not all anime is weird. but i hate when someone says 100% of anime is weird but in reality its more like 58% of animes are weird (not including henti)
edit - lol and i am already called a weeaboo. hahah and he doesn't even know the meaning (btw his name is outcomess)

I wouldn't say it is weird per say it can sometimes be hard to understand though I know that from personal experience. And so what if people think its weird, as long as you enjoy it who cares what other people think

What u talking about? Anime is da shit! Swords, zombies, romance, gun fights, comedy, it has everything! Granted not all of it is good but anime is such a blanket term for a wide range of shows from kiddish and silly to questioning what the soul is and the powers government should possess.

I agree with you I think people who have never watched anime and assume that it's bad are retards because that an assumption but I do have to agree with the people who say it's weird to I mean u can't seriously tell me that some anime are just freaky or just way outa wack because it is true that some anime are weird

I have no problem with people who watch it,talk about it once in a while,and still live normal lives. But,if it gets to the point where it affects who they are,how they act,or how they think,then i have a problem. A while ago,i knew somebody,real nice person.i had ap math with him,so we would talk every day about what was going on.But then,one day,he started talking about how much he loved anime (he had started watching it about a month before telling me about it).ever since then,thats all he talks about.He acts completely different,and lost a lot of his friends.I still talk to him once in a while,but he can barely talk about anything else other than anime.He ended up dropping out of ap math due to not doing his homework or studying.He missed 3 days straight of school to watch anime. So,moral of the story? Anime is ok.Just don't become obsessed with it.

7 답변It is weird, but for its own reasons. I enjoy its weirdness. It's the only genre that makes me laugh from how weird a lot of anime are.

Nothing wrong with anime, much like live action productions there are a variety of directing styles, and genres within the realm of anime. I have seen some very dramatic Anime films and some very goofy ones, there is something for everyone. An example of that is Grave of the fireflies for a more serious film then there are series like sailor moon which is the opposite of serious. Then there is anything from studio Ghibli which is always good.
