If You Boost...
You're a pathetic loser. Simple as that.
When I first got this game, I was AWFUL at PVP. I had never played a PVP type of game like this before. I never played Halo multiplayer or any kind with an over shield that recharges. Just COD and we know it's nothing alike.
My K/D for the first 2-3 months of playing was abysmal. Like I went 2-15/5-20 every damn game. But I stuck with it, and every month since then my K/D has gotten higher and higher as has my overall PVP game.
It's still a subpar 1.34 but it's getting higher by the week.
If you boost, you're taking the easy way, actually you're taking the cheating way. None of these PVP quests are impossible. Are they difficult? Some are yeah. But isn't that how it's supposed to be?
Chaperone, Thorn (OG), The Sword Kills, The First Curse. They aren't the easiest PVP quests for average or below average players, but they aren't supposed to be.
Don't take the easy(cheating) way out. PVP is only terrible to those who suck at it.

3 답변I get the frustration. You want what you put work into to feel special. Like everyone else that has it worked just as hard. I want that in real life, but there's this thing called welfare so... yeah xD But seriously, I've never boosted. I'm awful at PVP. Sometimes I get in the groove and dominate a match. Usually I'm contributing as support and not much else. I'm sitting on two more swords (did one already) and First Curse right now. I did all the exotic bounties in year one. Paid my dues as I see it. I'm considering boosting for First Curse because otherwise I'm looking at weeks of practice with a hand cannon to pull it off, and frankly, I have a career and this thing called a life that I'd rather be doing than being shotgunned in the face while I drag my team down trying to do a stupid quest that would take me scant minutes to just boost through. I'll likely never even use the weapon. If I wanted to use a hand cannon exotic, I'd pull out my Ace or Hawk, but I'm a collector. I don't even see it as cheating frankly. If Bungie thought it was cheating, do you think for a moment they would let fireteam kills count toward a quest? Pretty easy tweak to make and yet they haven't. Seems to me like they don't care. Ultimately though, do you REALLY want your fireteam full of random people trying to hilt kill people? Or do you want it full of people that want to be there and are using weapons they are good with? I know which I'd prefer if I were a PvPer. Same as prefer on a raid. I want people that want to be there and are invested in winning. Not just invested in achieving some weird quest requirement.

People are going to play this game the way they see fit. Personally, I suck at pvp in this game because the mechanics are pathetic, the lag is horrible, and it's not fun for me. Why do something that isn't fun? And yes, I boosted my third thorn bounty because there are waaaay to many try hard people like you who will go after someone trying to get a bounty done just to troll them. So why should I put up with crap like that? And don't say you don't do it. I can tell you're the type of person who takes it to far. 99.9%of the people that boost a bounty will also leave the instant that it's completed, leaving you to enjoy the garbage pit that is called crucible. TL;DR: Don't hate the way I play the game, I won't hate the way you play the game.

3 답변If i wanted to play crucible i'd play crucible. But i'm bad enough when i dont have to run around trying to sword people. I'd prefer to get it over with and go back to something fun. Still have 2 exotic swords left to get and guess what.... [spoiler]gonna boost both of em.[/spoiler]

The only two times I've ever boosted were on the quests for chaperone and the first curse. I only needed seven kills for the first curse, and I still lost, so that was fine. For the chaperone quest, I might've one, but I still felt sorry for the people I was playing with because my score went up like 2/3 of winning until I got it. I really felt like I was cheating.

2 답변You can't make people play how you want. Get over it. If I want the Chaperone or First Curse I'll do it rumble -- I'm with a fireteam for a reason, and I'm not there to 'win. '

4 답변작성자: Swiftlock 10/22/2015 11:31:42 PMI'm [i]glad[/i] when I see people boosting TLW/Imprecation/Sword kills in Rumble matches. I'd rather have them boost there than unfairly drag down a team since they're forced to use a weapon that they're not good with. Maybe I'm just weird.
