Greetings fellow Guardians, I just wanted to State that this is my first Forum so please bear in mind I've never created anything like this before and I don't know if someone has already covered this subject, so I apologize in advance if i mess up on anything. Ok now the matter at hand, I personally love reading any kind of lore and while I was reading through the Book of Sorrows I noticed somethings that piqued my interest and got me thinking, it started in chapter V: Needle and Worm. At the very end the words that got me first thinking were: [quote] It says: listen closely, oh vengeance mine...[/quote] This sentence [u] Instantly[/u] got me thinking of the Ahamkara due to the fact that in all of their dialogue they have the pattern: " oh [insert word here] mine. " this can be seen in any of the Ahamkara exotic armor and the other Grimore entry on them alone. At first my mind began thinking that the worms and the Ahamakara were one and the same due to this speech pattern and the fact that like the Ahamkara, this 'worm' that the proto-hive found dealt out deals and deceived those it talked to. After looking through the vague descriptions of both these 'worms' and the Ahamkara I came to the conclusion that they could not be the exact same species. [u]However[/u] I do believe that there must be some either genetic or other relation between these two, the fact that they act so similar leads me to believe that [b]perhaps[/b] the Ahamkara were to be humanities counterpart to the hive worms and that had they not been wiped out they would have tried to enslave us as the hive 'worms' did with the proto-hive. So what do you think? I've been continuously intrigued by the Ahamkara so I was wondering what you all think of this subject.
