You know what the problem with TTK is? No one wants to help anyone
How are people suppose to get experience when no one wants to help people out? Its like job hunting... "we want people but you need experience which we are not gonna give you"
Year one was good... everyone was willing to help there fellow man out... now its just full of selfish people.
Edit: Since posting this i have discovered that not all people asshats... so im not labeling the whole destiny community... just the elitist that forgot that everyone started somewhere.
Thank you to those that helped me through the raid tonight and those that offered afterwards... now that i have a bit of experience i would be glad to offer help to those in need of it..

Edit Edit: yes i have looked at videos... no i didnt expect to be carried. Yes i know about lfg. Yes i have a raiding party already who are unfortunatley away atm.

My group is always willing to help a new player raid as long as they show competency. If you are shooting oryx with an auto rifle, rocket launcher, or Sleeper Simulant... don't expect much help. That is the one thing I have seen from almost everyone who was unable to beat Oryx with their group. They are using weapons that just do not belong in the raid. As long as you are around 290 and listen well my group will gladly run you.

I have yet to complete a raid because the guy who knows the raid raged quit because we wiped on the deathsingers. The experienced guys just want to get in and out and barely have patience for raid virgins like me, who slow them down . :-(

eh..I'll help people out in patrols if they are taking on a champion or public event. or if I know a chest/ghost/fragment is near by. And I do make stops in CoO to help. (even though it's -blam!-ing dead 90% of the time) And I don't mind carrying people through strikes. But the one thing I won't do is help people with the raid outside my friends. I do have my patience limit. I shouldn't be slandered for that.

I've met some cool people, and I've helped out some people. I have also met my fair share of jerks who won't respond to messages, rage quit if something doesn't go right, people who demand they take over a raid because they think they know what they're doing. I haven't done anything wrong. I rarely die, I don't rage nor quit, but these people. Jfc. I'm a 299 titan and I'm reviving tons of people all the time, mainly the "elites." Who in return will always blame the least elite for their death, me. But nothing is more satisfying when the "consumed by darkness" or completion screen comes up and you have the most kills and least deaths, while that elite has 1/3 of your kills, and 10 times your deaths.

3 답변For now yes and since its been out for so long it's not worth helping on the raid as we are trying to get it done. The first few weeks a lot of people didn't mind helping but it's been out so long now everyone should know what to do

My clan helps out people that are new to the game or anyone that needs help with raids regardless of experience. We are on Xbox One, and on Eastern Time. We usually raid Tuesday evenings, and take someone new to the raid with us each time.

[/quote] Kind of the opposite of 90 sum % of the LFG for the raids though. Everyone remembers the Must Haves: 1. Über Grimoire score 2. Gjallarhorn and/Ice Breaker 3. "**" Level 4. Know how to cheese "insert part here* With rare exceptions of people who didn't care and just wanted to have fun. I guess the only real problem is, all the BS group finders seem to have higher traffic, so the ones who actually try to help new players are not always highly upvoted.

I took my brother through the raid (his first kings fall) this weekend with a group off recruitment and we made it no problem. Don't think we wiped more than once or twice the whole time. Then took a buddy through for his first time as well with a different group. They were happy to help. I just told them it was his first but I would tell him what to do. Just gotta look through the posts. There are plenty of ppl

Helped my Dad beat Oryx last night for his first time. Two other guys were experienced and two hadn't beat it yet either. It took about an hour but the experienced guys were patient and we got it done. It's actually not hard at all once you know what to do... I have a theory though, so it may behoove some of you guys looking for carries to start trying to contribute more... The relic runner for the Oryx fight might be random in hard mode (like it is for the sisters now). I was thinking about that last night and it would definitely make the raid "hard".
