I'm gonna say it. I miss old Light Levels!
At this point I've done I think nearly 14 raid completions. And I've yet to get anything entirely decent. At least in the vault of glass you get a 30 item and move on.
Getting duplicates of 303/304 are ridiculous. At least VoG or Crota never gave 29/31 light stuff. I don't want to do the raid anymore, my buddies feel like it's stale (I don't) so without them to play with I have to use LFG.
Now don't get me wrong I've found a plentiful amount of great people on LFG. Had so many great raids. But now the raid is such a chore to do, I'm finding less and less enthusiastic people.
"YES I GOT THE BOOTS" was what people would say.
But now it's "306 boots? AGAIN?!"
It's a great raid. It is huge compared to the others. But the effort for the reward is minimal.
I run all 3 classes. I do my Titan every week hoping for better stuff and when I don't get it I feel like I've just spent a couple hours wasting my time in a more than likely a bad group.
Forever 29 is back ladies and gentlemen. But at least when that was the case you could do the raid once a week and feel a little bit of joy when getting something you needed.
I thought shards would be a great idea. People always complained about loot at the end of raids. Effort for the reward and what not. But they've proven otherwise with the shards. Shards give nothing but an extra chance and a somewhat minimal one at that.

2 답변작성자: CavScout00 10/16/2015 3:00:04 PMAgree. Year 2 sucks more than anything in year 1. Exotics start at 280-290, except really rare drops Court of oryx drops are a joke unless your new. Nightfall drops suck. Iron banner gear is 280. Raid drops suck but its the only thing that drops 300+ gear. Infusion + current drops is worse than grinding mats and waiting for an armor peice to drop. Now it drops but maybe lower level than you are currently. Then your waitingbfor another one thats higher and etc. So once again its better to have all 3 characters the same class.

1 답변I'm the same man. I'm done as of today. I've grinded enough. I need 310 boots only for all 3 characters to get them all to level 310 (I'd have to switch weapons and a ghost but I'd get to 310 none the less) i don't get excited anymore for the drops. I've done 8 completions. I don't want to grind anymore. Bungie are on the right path with the specific routs to gear. But the raid and iron banner are both way off. Hell add nightfall into that. I love this game but it's finally gone stale for me. I left a while ago and took a break and came back but it's the same feeling again and it didn't take long this time to come back. I love the people and the I actually enjoy the missions. But it's not enough for me anymore. I'll probably be back after a break. Who knows. For now I'm happy to walk away for a while.

3 답변Infusion sucks too. Bungie claims you can wear whatever you want because of infusion, but what happens when you infuse a 310 piece of raid gear into your 294 or so legendary gear? It becomes like 305. And with the crappy raid drops, good luck getting another 310 drop of the exact same piece. Either grind the raid over and over again for more gear for infusion, or walk around being another clone like in the early Destiny days.

Here's what I have an issue with: They hyped all of this new gear (exotics included) and really all it was is a stock refresh on all vendors. So we left behind all yr one legendary gear (referring to just armor) and now everyone looks exactly alike all over again. As far as exotics go they took some away and we're at a standard number of exotic gear/weapons.

5 답변You use the doubles to infuse into other stuff. Like IB gear, or ToO gear. Then you can wear what you want rather than looking like everyone else. I am happy when ever I get a drop. Even if it the same exotic over and over. If it is 310 it goes into something I want to use. The load out are situational now. So you can have a PvE build for all 3 elements and pvp for different play lists. So many people are stuck thinking about the game the way they did in year one.

They should have made infusions as it's own exp bar on your weapons and armor, and instead of needing higher level equipment, you can use any light level equipment and the higher the light on it, the more experience you gain towards increasing the light on that weapon. Now obviously this would take a while to get each piece of equipment to 310, and your overall light level there, but would be completely smooth and consistent progression to 310. Needing higher light level gear to pump up your current gear is honestly counterproductive, and relies, again, more towards RNG instead of dedicated grind that matters. So when you get to 310, you feel like you actually earned your progression by leveling up your gear through actually playing the game, instead of getting lucky from a wonky system that still doesn't make any sense. This is how I thought it was going to be when they first revealed it, but I ended up being utterly confused as to why they didn't do it like that <_<

18 답변300 is the benchmark (Oryx is 300). 310 only gives you an added incentive to run the raid after getting all the gear. It's not like Oryx is 310 and we do 30% less damage until we get that missing piece. The new system is far, [i]far[/i] better than before. It just takes a shift in your perspective to see it.

1 답변To get the higher light level you dont need to run the raid. This is a poor mistake by bungie and i question who makes the levelling system. They need sacking quick. Buy some 3 of coins get 310 exotics infuse into what you want no need to run raid. I remember when doing a raid ensured the best gear. Them days are gone

6 답변I agree. Can't wear any of my favorite year 1 warlock bonds because they only have like 150 light and I can't even infuse anything into them. Crap sucks.

2 답변It is virtually the same thing. A 300 (at least based on max light ATM) is a 30. A 310 is a 30 with slightly better stuff. Saying a 305 is the equivalent to a 29 is misleading as a 29 was underleveld for available encounters. All current raid gear drops at a level equal ( lvl 30 hard mode = 30 light gear) to the hardest content, however this time around you can over-level in a sense.

The key difference here is that there is a much smaller gap in damage dealt/resisted from 300-310 than there was 29-30 in vanilla. Essentially for normal mode KF, 300 = 26 in normal vanilla VoG. 310 = like 28 or 29. Or 290 normal KF = 29 hard VoG and 300-310 = 30 hard VoG if you prefer.

1 답변Agreed 100%, this new light level is mediocre to how it was , they've just made everything that made forever 29 so bad even worst, it's horrible , but hard mode will drop 310-320 gear but it's going to be the same exact thing trying to reach 320 light . Unless the gear us all guaranteed to drop at 320 this issue isn't going away anytime soon .
