It's Black Spindle Day!
Hello Guardians! If you've not had the opportunity to log in yet today, then perhaps you don't know--it's Black Spindle day today! Lost to Light is once again the daily heroic mission, and you know what that means! Time to get your Spindles n' ships!
As such, I thought I'd re-share a video guide I'd made with some of (what I believe to be) the best tips to net you a successful run! Enjoy, and I wish you all the best of luck!

A full fireteam will max out the mission's difficulty. Not sure if everyone knows this but this can actually be taken advantage of. If you go in with a 2 man fireteam its easier to kill and you take less damage compared to a full 3 man fireteam. We got to the boss room with 7:30mins to spare. Sleeper simulant the boss and killed him with 4mins left. Had the 3rd person join to help clear the room and it was done.

5 답변Sadly, I don't mind not having a Black Spindle. It's more because Bungie is making it harder and harder to care if you get gear or not anymore. When Black Spindle first appeared, there were very few 300s and most people were underlevelled, so it was a seriously difficult task. The prize came out at 310, which sounded great for something that is difficult to get. The reward was worth going after. Then we are told Bungie made a mistake and it should only be like anything else, just another 290 exotic. And not only that, they took every Black Spindle and nerfed some below even 290. Where are the good rewards. Most of the rewards in TTK have been very underwhelming. At least in Y1 there was alot of things you did not mind extra BS in trying to obtain. If there is a great reward in TTK, it is because Bungie made a mistake plain and simple. And have no doubt, it will be removed from you expeditiously ... But broken things in the game that hurt p[ayers in general get ignored and are left for the player to deal with ...

I got mine. At 290. Still really proud of it. I did it with a couple of guys from reddit. We cut it soo close, we had like 15 seconds left. We all just pulled out our swords and went crazy. I killed the last captain and freaked out when I saw the rewards line up.

5 답변This mission is waaaaayyyy easier as 300+ light. We finished yesterday with 45 seconds left 2nd try. The last time I tried we'd run out of time and the room was still loaded with adds.

Ran it yesterday with 2 guys who said they did not know any strategies. One was 298 and the other was 299. I had my handy, dandy level 307 Hunter. Told them we would use the Titan w/ blessings of light method where one person takes out ads while the Titan and I go up to the boss with the bubble and get to slicing. Our first run was a fail because the Titan didn't quite understand the strategy and placed his bubble on the ground floor. We did end up killing the boss, but still had a ton of ads to kill when the timer ran out. On the 2nd run my Titan friend placed his bubble perfectly. We took the boss down to about 40% health then went back to clear blights and ads. I jumped up again myself with the sword and sliced up the boss while the Titan's super charged. Once it was charged we went up a last time and finished off the boss. We had about 2 minutes left to kill ads. We finished with about 45 seconds left.

had to finished it on my 5th try me and my fireteam was so enrage coz we end up with 3-4 ads left when timer runs out. but eventually 5th try made it happen and we had 2:30 left on d timer we were all stoked with that much time left and finished it and got our spindles! hope u can live the hyped too when u experienced it.

Do people really find this THAT hard to compleat me and some people did it on our first run without a wipe+ not really knowing what to do. To bad we were 12 minutes over and didn't get a reward. I am not bragging just asking a question. EDIT: We went over time meaning that the daily swapped over 12 minutes before we killed the boss. So the 2 guys and I didn't revive a black spindle.

6 답변lol i got it today with my friend. Killed the boss at the 5 minute mark and had plenty of time for the adds. We had one hunter make us invisible, all ran up to his platform, tethered him, went ham with our exotic swords, took him down to 5% b4 we all died, Sniped to clean him up

This mission has the potential to drive people crazy. We had a few good runs, were down to 1 major, ran out of time. Then I had to leave to pick up my son, got back, tried again, failed miserably. The next run, killed the boss with over 4 minutes left, mopped up the ads, got the Spindle & the Ship. Strange thing is that we really didn't do anything differently: 1. Kill blights 2. Kill Boss 3. Kill new blights/ads 4. finish ads 5. ?? 6. Profit. That mission brings out my inner Wreck-It-Ralph "Yeah right, no way I'm going through that again" haha
