So I was in the cosmodrome doing my daily bounties, in the rocket yard to be specific, when I went into the old loot cave there for whatever reason.
That's where I found something on the floor and when you approach it it cues you to interact.
Once you do an ominous voice echos through the cave and says
"A million deaths are not enough for master Rahul"
And then nothing. It doesn't seem to trigger an event or do anything.
Does anyone know what the purpose of this is?
Is it some new kind of mission tree or just some sort of Easter egg that I don't understand?
EDIT: so I'm just ANTI- confirming that I'm a troll. As I said I was in the area doing my daily bounties and found myself in front of the cave and reminisced a bit. Went in and found what I found.
Truly not a troll I can't stand those idiots.
I only every come in here to ask questions.. Genuine questions. Or help where I can.
I am I "day 1" player but didn't play for a hell of a long time.
@Mr Spooky Miyagi - sorry. Got my areas confused but everyone knows the loot cave I'm talking about. So your "obvious" troll was nothing more than a genuine question that I buggered up the description of.
@Zort Commander - I DO remember the loot cave. Just like you and everyone else I did my fair share of farming. I HAD forgotten all the dudes that would sit in there just to be a s**t for the people farming. That comment and memory made me laugh a bit.
@everyone who thought I'm a troll... *slow clap*...... *very..... Slow....... Clap*..... Yo troll-Dar is WAY off peeps....
EDIT 2: it did cross my mind that it was merely an Easter egg (hence me saying those exact words in my OP) referring to the loot cave.. I think it's a pretty good one too. I love when game companies do things like that.
EDIT 3: so I'm getting A LOT of troll accusations simply because "I know it's the loot cave but don't know what it is", "it's not in the rocket yard" blah blah blah.
So firstly, i know it as the loot cave because I got destiny on release and stopped playing before they patched the cave (now I'm back and wondering what this thing I haven't seen before is as it was my first trip there in roughly a year)
And second I'm only human and made a mistake. I went TO the rocket yard I search of stirok FROM the loot cave and that's where I made my mistake.
And it honestly sucks that everyone automatically assumes troll and not mistake.
Just because YOU have had these experiences and YOU know certain things about whatever doesn't mean that I have the same knowledge or experience.
I'm sure I know stuff that some of you don't and I wouldn't jump down your throat and treat you like s**t for asking.
It's as simple as you don't know what you don't know and the only way to fix that is to ask..
It's no wonder why the world is getting stupider. No one wants to ask anything through fear of being insulted and belittled.

Awww I just now saw this... I was gonna be the person to say "nobody tell him". But yea, that's a thing we did a long time ago. Called it the Loot Cave. It spawned a ton of enemies every few seconds and we'd spend hours just shooting into that cave, getting some sweet loot in the process. It was so popular, you could usually find two people already there working on it. "A million deaths are not enough for Master Rahool" is because we killed a ton of enemies and all in the name of Master Rahool and his decription powers. Miss those times T~T

작성자: Sixclicks 10/13/2015 4:02:12 PMIt's been there for a long time now. I don't remember exactly when they added that, but it was before The Dark Below was released. It's just an easter egg "monument" to the nearly 1 million Hive that were slaughtered there very early in the game for loot. It was one of the few times you actually ran into a good amount of players in Patrol instead of Earth being barren of players. The forums at that time were all about nerfing Bladedancer and how to not be a dick at the loot cave.

2 답변Oh that was where the first ever vanilla loot cave was. A bunch of enemies would spawn in and you would kill them, and they would drop a lot of engrams. People did this so much, it killed over 1 million enemies across every destiny account. So, people kept killing for engrams for master rahool
