Bungie should implement shaders for different corresponding sexualities.

6 답변Good idea but there really isn't a color scheme for "straight pride." Straight people don't need a "straight pride" because they've not been institutionally and historically repressed like the members of the LGBT community. I like the idea of LGBT themed shaders though.

6 답변Why? That is just offensive in itself. And how would they test it? You want a red shader, new Monarchy. Pink? Imogen's fury or aurora blur. Black? Dead orbit, VIP, Feud unfading. There is already enough shaders for this without thatz

2 답변What you want? A rainbow shader? That would look stupid. The game has hundreds of shaders, surely some of them makes you feel happy or represent who you are or whatever. Just choose one that makes you look awesome and be happy.

2 답변There's a Titan mark you might appreciate, the Speaker sells it sometimes, and it sounds like it would be right up your alley. However, I don't believe that this idea is a good one. I come on Destiny to relax and immerse myself in a Science Fantasy setting with space magic and mystic lore and mighty heroes and deadly aliens. Its not at all the real world, and I like being able to immerse myself in it and forget about many of the stresses that exist in the real world. Such a concept would root the player to the real world, be out of place in the fictional universe, and run contrary to the game's storytelling efforts.

26 답변So why can't you use the current library of shaders and why does one's sexuality need to be broadcast? I guess i'm just missing the point here.

1 답변This would mean nothing since anyone of any orientation could wear them. Soooo there would be no point in do this.

작성자: AnubisXIX82 10/13/2015 4:50:47 AMThis whole thing makes no sense to me. Just tell me why it is you need to have that section of your personality validated or shown with a shader? I get that it could be because people assume you are straight by default, but they don't know you. I even get it could be used to make others around you more aware of the world and the different people that surround them so they watch their tongue more often, but if walls start going up to separate people then shit will just be flung over those walls. Confront these things head on and not hide behind a rainbow. By all means be proud of what you've accomplished or lived through, but it doesn't make it the one thing about you that's important above all else and needs to be shown in everything you do. With most if they stopped being gay or whatever they are it seems they would cease to be anything. There is alot more that goes into defining me than the fact I have a boyfriend, id say it's not even in the top 5.

3 답변Why not. GTA has the gay pride parachute. Even if I pick my Black or Desert chute I still get defaulted to the gay pride chute.

Let's go over the colors of the pride flag: Red: God of war shader Orange: autumn spice shader Yellow: aruu's passage shader Green: polar oak shader Blue: double banshee shader Purple: provincial royal shader. I am 100% for equality and being proud of who you are. But just feedback speaking. I feel like your idea needs more clarity or direction. Give us an idea of what you think this shader should/could look like.

62 답변Based on the incredibly negative comments. I have come to the conclusion that the destiny community is a majority of white privileged straight homophobic sexist bigoted racist supremacists. Who don't believe in equality for all genders and sexualities. I am deeply ashamed and saddened that Bungie hardbours this type of community to grow under their watch. I am therefore going to start a petition to get Bungie Forums taken down. I will also contact my local government representative to draw an FBI case to investigate the Forums for potential terrorist threats. Bungie needs to reform it's speech policy. Hate speech should not be a part of modern day life. I my self have witnessed so much abuse and now suffer type 3 ptsd. Thank You.

Freedom of Speech, Freedom of Religion and Freedom of Sexuality are all your choice, but I'm willing to bet slap on a shader that is a known belief and you will get bullied one way or another because this is all virtual and nobody is held accountable for their actions because of the cloak of virutalness and gamer tags.

3 답변I have no issues with the LGBT community. I think people have every right to live their own lives as they see fit. However, in this environment, nothing positive will come from this idea. This would open the door for so much harassment and not just to people of the LGBT community but anybody who might think the colors of said shaders were cool and decided to wear them. If I wear a shader, regardless of the reason, I shouldn't have to explain or defend myself or my reasons to wear it to anybody. Ever. And neither should anybody else. This community is plagued with people who would hate, troll and harass people just because they don't share their views on whatever subject they have an interest in. Sure you can block report them, but why should people have to suffer through it to begin with? There is enough hate in this community. I see no reason to add more problems. I just don't think this is a good idea.
-
1 답변No, they should make ones that are just good combinations of colors. That should be the only thing considered when making a shader.
