I main a warlock at the moment, and this occurred to me after I decided to get my titan up to speed. Currently, my highest light level class item gives me a boost to Crucible rep, so this is the one I have equipped every time I hand in an engram. I've noticed so far that I always seem to get a very specific set of gear, and from legendaries I'm almost always given haliaetus gear, which is the crucible stuff you can buy from the vendor. To the point where I now have no other gauntlets except four pairs of haliaetus. Same goes for chest pieces etc. Crucible gear all the way basically. Now cross over to my titan, Haven't played there as much. the only class item I had for most of my time was one that gave me vanguard rep increase. So far, 4/5 legendary engrams gave me Duskrender gear, that's the vanguard stuff. 2 sets of the same boots, and two sets of the same chest pieces. Coincidence? I don't know what it would do for exotics, but I can tell you I've had 5 pairs of claws so far come through for my warlock. [b]Do you guys find you get the same particular sets that correlate to the class item you are wearing? [/b] Vanguard gear for an equipped vanguard class item etc? I'm all out of engrams for the moment But will try with a whole new set with a different class item equipped soon. [b]Update 1[/b] Aight! Got a few more engrams, tested them out with my warlock while using a vanguard rep class item. Got legendary Thesan Fusion rifle and kalipolis gloves from new monarchy! Still fairly inconclusive, since it was only a couple engrams. BUT I didn't get any crucible vendor gear this time. Will try again with the next batch! Would still love to know what other guardians are receiving, It's almost too late for me but someone might appreciate it the next time they are after some gear. Edit 2: I take it back.
