Please, equip your sniper and show us how it's done. We're waiting. Oh, and no body shots, with that ridiculous aim assist that grants every shot a kill you should be able to land head shots all the time. If not, then show yourself out.
side note, those who say that snipers sit in the back and pad their kd don't know what they're talking about. But even if they did, how is that any different than corner camping with a shotgun?

i will grant that LitC needs to go, it was completely redundant to change final round only to add a different one shot body perk
I'm gonna add a comment Saxthulu made that I agree with 100%, really hit the nail on the head when he put it like this:
The skill involved in shotguns, because there is skill involved to do it and go positive, is not gunplay. It is smart movement and utilizing the map. Sniping skill is gunplay, because you actually need to be able to put that circle on the head quickly to get the kill. I.e. different skillsets.
Can you show me a video of a sniper running around warrioring through damage and killing people? There's not much of a skill gap in this game but shotguns are far easier to use. So you put one in the hands of someone even close to average they're going to bag a lot of kills. If someone is bagging a lot of kills using a sniper, you know they're pretty decent. Shotguns simply give you a far larger margin for error couple with a higher reward. So they will always be considered as requiring less "skill" (I hate that term).

1 답변작성자: Baenaenae 10/17/2015 8:59:38 PMI'll be honest and say they both take almost no skill. For snipers, just aim at head level and as soon as you see someone come around the corner... Boom ez pz.

3 답변Snipers have better map control and engagement distance Shotgunners have better flanking skills Both are equal to me. If you are getting killed by someone running around with a shotgun, you are bad at map control If you are getting sniped by the same camper over and over you have no knowledge of flanking

10 답변작성자: pookidook 10/11/2015 7:04:59 AMI don't see why this is a thing. Snipers and shotguns are two sides to the same coin... if someone enters a snipers sight line without a long range weapon they should get sniped. If someone walks around a tight hallway without a close range weapon they should get shot guned. If someone closes the distance on a sniper and shot guns them they earned it. If a sniper keeps range on the shot gun and takes them out first they earned that. It's not something to pick a side over. They are both a part of the game and have been a part of shooters since the beginning.

8 답변It doesn't take more skill to snipe. Some people don't like being aggressive or close quarters. Some people don't like sitting in the back of the map or staying away from most of the action. It's about choosing what you do best with. The problem is when people go from shotguns to snipers and forget how to deal with close range stuff. Then get mad and blame shotguns when they have 2 mid to long range weapons equipped and spend a majority of time down scope not keeping their flanks covered. :p

To be honest i'm impressed every time someone can snipe me out of the air.
Luck in the Chamber is different than Final Round.FR is predictable and can be planed around. LitC is random and thus players can't just save the damage bullet because they don't know which it is. It's luck whether the damage bullet is the one you bodyshotted that guy with or the one that splatted against a wall.
As a shotgun sniper in year one (universal remote and broken truth) shotguns are in a great place right now, same with snipers. I would have no problem with a aim assist nerf on snipers (I play better without aim assist so I may be the only one who doesn't care) Luck in the chamber must go that's the only problem with snipers

1 답변Not saying people who use shotguns are bad but people who use a sniper more often are generally better. Snipers always try to get headshots and that means having decent to good aim.

I'm on the sniper side and I've always hated how overpowered shotguns have seemed and been. I'm not the 'sit at the back of the map and do nothing' sniper though. I'm a mobile sniper. I'll get up with my primary and get some kills on guys near me but when I don't see anyone on the radar, my sniper is out. Gives me range and the ability to take someone out before they get to me. If there's no one around, I'll move to a new spot and watch for enemies. I certainly don't go for body shots. I go for head shots everytime which takes a lot more skill than double tapping a body shot or insta killing with a shotty. I try to always have special ammo on me if I get in a sticky situation or a 1v3 in Trials or something but I'm not a fan of the people who sit and one spot, look in one direction, and never switch to a primary. Sometimes I can be the never switch to a primary guy but it's dependent on the map, what I'm using and what gear I have on. I'm the type of sniper that will get the initial snipe to setup the advantage and allow my teammates to push up. I keep an eye on the orb and if they cause to revive them then I'll make sure they stay down. Same thing goes for self rez. If you're gonna self rez, do it when I'm not paying attention or else you're getting put back down again. The ONLY time I ever sit in one spot and snipe is typically in a 1v3 scenario in Trials. If my teammates are dead and far from me, I'll pick a good sight line with a lot of view and scout the areas. Anyone who comes, I'll snipe them and attract their teammates to revive him which will give me more kills to get a clutch round win. Other than that situation I usually will play aggressive and pick up kills. I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty. That's why I have 5 Phantom medals, 2 Marks of the Unbroken, 2 Sum of All Tears, and a handful of No Mercies and Bulletproofs. Sadly, I don't have that Seventh Column. My time hasn't come yet. I don't classify myself as an outstanding player by any means because I don't want to boast since it'll usually come back bite me in the ass but I know I'm good. My friends, on the other hand, say I'm the best in our group and I'm amazing so, I'm not gonna argue against them.
