Screw you Bungie, some of us don't have lots of time
I completed my sleeper quest up to the core part and I have to do a warsat and the archive mission but I had to get off to go to work yesterday
What a poor design for a quest...
All this hype and it's just a let down
People who have the core should not have to wait until the next time the quest is available because this is -blam!-ing stupid
EDIT: here is an average schedule for you idiots saying make time
Get home from school around 3:30
Walk dogs and feed them~ 15 min
Basketball practice 4-6:30
Current time is 6:30
Shower ~10 min
Eat dinner~ 1 hour
Current time is 7:55
Homework1-3 hours
Time is 10:55
Average time it would take to complete all steps for the quest ~2 hours or more depending on how lucky you get
Time would then be 12:55 [b][i][u]IF[/u][/i][/b] I followed this schedule exactly and gave myself zero free time or going to the bathroom in between anything which would still make completing all steps impossible for me
Brush teeth~2 min
Time is 12:57 and
I have to wake up for school at 5:30AM
Yeah it's not going to happen
Sorry I can't spend my life on a video game

1 답변I see the point here. I attempted to do the quest, but I ended up spending 2 hours in skywatch, and 3 on the moon waiting for warsats. I think warsats should be made more frequent instead if random because there are people like me who have absolute shit luck.

Wake up 0400 Gym/run from 430-600 Shower/shave/shit/change/breakfast by 730 Lock dogs up leave for work by 745 Arrive at work, change into scrubs get coffee by 830 Off work at 1800 Dinner at 1830 House work/college till 2000 Leave me 3 hours to entertain wife, play with dogs and get some destiny in. I think the main issue here is your free time. You said if you played destiny you'd leave yourself no free time. Destiny is supposed to be your free time... If destiny has become something more than just a past time or a game for fun, then you're addicted and should stop playing. Basically, when you complain that doing what was once fun now leaves you with no free time, it's evolved into an addiction. That's bad.

Working 50-60 hours a week. And raising a 2 year old, while satisfying a wife by doing with chores and helping around the house. It gets so much harder than school and sports.

1 답변I have 4 kids, work 70 hours a week, do activities including swimming, gym etc...... not to mention my DIY projects. I only started TTK 7 days ago and im already 300+ with 90%+ quests complete I do not understand ur logic.

2 답변Dude. Just wow. I work from 7am to 3:30 pm. I drive 30 min both ways. My wife and i BOTH go to college, and we have a 5 year old daughter who i help with homework. Walk our dogs everyday. I am up for promotion at work, and i have straight A's in both my classes. I still found 3 1/2 hours last night and 30 minutes tonight to complete the quest. You are either mismanaging your time, or you just got unlucky this week. If the game doesn't work out for you then it doesn't work out for you. It isnt poor design, they are trying to do something big and that won't fit into everyone's life. Get over it. There are more important things to life.

1 답변I think in todays gaming scenario nobody wants to be stuck on something for more than one day or its apparently "too hard" or "unfair" Do people even remember the days that it took more than one day to complete tasks in other games? I mean i guess people get so consumed with so many hours that they forget playing games is a past time and not a job. Things can be done as a marathon and not a sprint and that allows us to keep having a goal to strive for in games.

So people that Work 40+ hours arent allowed to put a few hours into something they enjoy without it being a "life"? Tired of people shaming others because real life gets in the way... Not everything has to be done first day. Find ways to make it fun and it goes better than complaining about it.
