NOT GETTING GLIMMER
Glimmer seems to be glitched for me on all of my characters. I only get it from certain actions like breaking items down and using consumables but other than that, I'm not getting any as I normally would.
I DO NOT getting any glimmer for-
Completing PVP matches
Completing Missions/Strikes
Killing enemies (Yellow and or White, etc)
I DO get glimmer for-
Opening Chests
Using glimmer consumables
Breaking Down Items
Has anyone ever ran into this problem? I don't know exactly when it started, but it was never a problem for me before the taken king came out. I've reset the game numerous times and tried everything on all characters. I am currently playing on xbox one with the preview dashboard update which I hear has compatibility issues with Destiny, but I think this started before I updated the xbox to the preview build which was only yesterday. Any insight would be helpful. Thanks.
and no I AM NOT AT THE GLIMMER CAP. Only have around 200

Thanks for the help, everyone. I guess it's just confusing how certain enemies will still explode with the glimmer cubes yet they don't actually give you glimmer anymore. Just started using more consumables and doing patrol missions and glimmer isn't much of a problem now. Thanks again for the information. :^)

You know need to own a Ghost that has a perk for glimmer drop when killing a specific type of enemy. My ghost gives me glimmer when I kill Hive enemies, so I will get only glimmer when killing them with this ghost equipped.
