Warframe is what destiny WISHES it could be
Warframe is a completed free game with many free updates that has many more planets weapons and classes then destiny and it's all free. Destiny clearly got inspiration from warframe but wasn't able to make something with nearly as much content or good.
Face It bungie kids...warframe was always your ultimate destiny
Lots saying destiny in development before warframe. True. But they could have had multiple builds,restarts,and doesn't mean closer to the end they looked at other games ideas. Let's face it the 2 are very similar in design game wise.
Edit 2 most people trying to trash warframe are describing what's wrong with destiny lol. Your literally playing what you say is in warframe. And don't get me started destiny will become pay for everything plus microtransactions so stop saying you can pay to win because it's just for helping it go faster. Anyone else can win just as easy as someone with 200 bucks.

The only thing you pay for in destiny is DLC which adds a lot of game content especially with the taken King. It has more content in that dlc than there was in the original game. They've added an emote store now but that doesn't get you anything you need. Just fun emotes people might want. And all the profits from that go toward releasing new content in year 2 for free. So yeah. Do your research before trashing the superior game. Again, get off destiny forums if you don't like it. Go talk on the warframe forums about warframe. Then everyone will be happy.

I've played warframe way more than destiny because I got it when it came out on pc, and tbh destiny is 1000x better, warframe use to be WAY less grindy, and I like grindy games but it's a little too much in warframe now.

The modding system and the variety of gear and warframes (classes) is far beyond what's available in Destiny. The game also moves 3 times faster. Recently, I do have issues with what the developers are doing with the game... Releasing incredibly OP gear and weapons and then nerfing right after everyone sinks time and money (if purchasing forma platinum the in game currency) upgrading them. It's a charming game, but saying "it's beta" every time someone is negligent about balancing/testing something in game is just not right. The game has been in open beta for over 2 years now. Destiny on the other hand has cinematic and well scripted missions and the amount of luck required for advancement is much higher. Skill trees and lucky rolls are where it's at with Destiny. Some may like it, but again it's all luck again. I'm playing Destiny quite often lately, but don't see myself playing for more than a couple hundred hours. The thing about highly cinematic scripted content is that it's like watching a movie over and over again. Also, with what I'm hearing about the raid rewards and how the "fixed" loot drop system isn't really fixed at all, (duplicates.. duplicates everywhere..), I'm concerned that I'm going to get turned off again spending 3-4 hours on something only to get the same garbage over and over again, like last year with the vault of glass constantly giving out ascendant energy and being stingy with exotics, etc.

I couldn't care less for Warframe. Tried it, bored me after 5 minutes. I tried for half an hour, didn't catch me. It can't be compared with Destiny anyway. They're different genres. That's like saying Pong is better than Mario Kart.

5 답변I stopped playing Warframe just after Hydroid was released It started to get boring even though I had a 100 member clan. Warframe is just the same textured levels with a different theme and randomised areas. I have to admit I like the mod card system though

Look, warframe is fun and all but if you want to talk about a grindy game then warframe is at the top of the subject list. It's fun, for sure, but you have to put in WAY more work and time to get a fraction of the payout you get in destiny. Not to mention you're much more limited on space in that game and the ONLY way to get more space is with their premium currency. Yes you can trade for it but the credit tax on that is absurd as well. Warframe is fun, yes. But so is destiny. And they're two very different games despite their similarities.

Destiny - great engine, lackluster features outside the engine. Way better shooter than Warframe, no argument there. Warframe - lackluster engine with AMAZING features outside the engine. Way better RPG than Destiny, no argument there. Alone, they both have strengths and weaknesses. I wouldn't say one is "better" or worse because they both have something the other lacks. Sure is great to enjoy them both...

In the end, though free, I've spent much more money on Warframe than Destiny (Some merchandise, various in game things and one Prime pack). Go figure. One nice thing about WF, the Devs are very open on their site to whats going on and when. They're at least not afraid to try to implement new ideas and modes. Even if they might not be stellar, they try it, then improve on it. All in all the game is forever being tweaked and worked on. So that's cool.

2 답변Yea...but Warframe sucks and Destiny doesn't. One is pay to win, which ruins games. And Destiny's microtransactions are cosmetic only...not quite "pay to win."
