Micro Transactions Don't Belong in $60 games.
There's no justification for it. Even if I don't spend a dime myself doesn't mean it's not sick that I paid for this game and every expansion pass and still have items blocked off from me.
It doesn't matter what items your selling.
It doesn't matter how cheap they are.
You're taking advantage of people and it's wrong. It's not a debate.

7 답변The real question here boys is why the -blam!- did we have to pay for the dark below dlc and house of wolves dlc if we don't benefit from anything from it at all?! It kind of bullshit that I can't infuse year 1 legendary gear. Ok I get why some of the weapons were basically "retired" and I'm fine with that but I pay 60$ for a game with 3 dlcs and only benefit from the taking king dlc?!?!?! Is that a joke?

2 답변So many ppl get butthurt about this.... Stuck in the past. Micro transactions are a part of gaming now, get used to it because it's here to stay for this game and most others. An mmo is a different animal than your garden variety single player game ( which you can generally play through in a matter of weeks or even days). An mmo evolves, gets new content and offers months upon years of unique experiences due to your dependance on other players. Some games like this use subscriptions to cover the maintenance and creative costs (wow). Others have been destiny's format where you pay for an expansion periodically (guild wars). Both formats generally include micro transactions.

There's no "taking advantage of people" here. If people want to spend their hard earned money on junk, it's their right to do so. Nobody is forcing them to buy anything, and what they buy has precisely 0 impact on their gameplay (short of laughing and clapping their hands when their character does a new dance of some kind). I hate microtransactions as much as the next person, but in this case I care significantly less because they aren't selling anything of consequence. As for them being in $60 games, have you ever played anything that EA has published in the last 4 years? It's there CONSTANTLY, and those purchases DO impact gameplay. It's why I haven't played an EA published sports game since NHL 2012. Totally ruined by being able to purchase player improving attributes. So long as they restrict their microtransactions to this kind of stuff, they can do it until Ragnarok for all I care. The minute they start selling Exotics or things like that, then there's a problem. There's a big difference between someone who can go out and buy Fate of All Fools and someone who can suddenly dance like Michael Flatley (admittedly, I would be tempted to buy that one).

Taking advantage would be forcing everyone's to buy it. They did say we will get enough silver to get at lest 1-2 of the emotes so calm your tits. It's not like they are selling an exclusive weapon. Finally at the end of the day they are a Businues making money how ever they can that's life. I love destiny and I am more then happy to spend my money how I see fit... Because it's my money and I am choosing to.

Offering something for sale is not "taking advantage of people". That's like saying Starbucks takes advantage of people for offering the Trenta size. It's an optional choice that may or may not increase the value of what you're purchasing. Whether the value is worth the cost is at the discretion of the consumer. #YourLogicIsBadAndYouShouldFeelBad

1 답변It's marketing 101. Most games have them and you should be thankful you got a year in before this was implemented. If it bothers you so much that other people will pay for an emote that you don't have , then you sir are exactly the type of consumer they are looking to snag, $2.99 at a time:)
