I would like to see someone name one relevant game that has been destroyed by micro transactions.
Everyone keeps saying "This is the beginning" or "This is how it all starts". Ok, give me one example.
Let's hear it.
Edit: I had a few edits posted here, but I felt as though they were being misinterpreted by some of you guys. I basically just posted how i disagreed with some of the games you guys named. I posted them last night and after I woke up this morning I read them to myself and I thought, "Eh...I could see how someone might take that the wrong way". I apologize for that. You guys are making some good points here. Keep it up, Guardians.

작성자: MysticJon 10/19/2015 4:55:40 PMAny game that sells power, or that sells shortcuts to power. Those are the types of microtransactions that ruin games. There are many to choose from and not enough time to name them all here. More recently, who here remembers the Real Money Auction House from Diablo III? Almost completely disliked by Diablo players because it sold in-game items for real money, which goes against the entire point of Diablo. Finding loot. Now, yes, the RMAH no longer exists, but it took quite a while before it was removed. That short time it was around, nearly made it actually pointless to PLAY Diablo III at all.

3 답변GTA Online. They made everything more expensive and implmented serious grind into a game that is not supposed to be a grind only so you would buy Shark Cards

I personally don't give a -blam!-. I've gotten very good a F2P games, it's when you NEED to pay is when it becomes a problem. This game wasn't free, I can damn well afford anything they throw at me, but I don't need anything they have to offer. Doesn't bother me at all, in any way, shape, or form. You can't buy skill.

1 답변Honestly, in any serious game it hasn't. In some games it is absolutely ridiculous, but it never really affects gameplay.

3 답변Seriously, I don't know of any that were RUINED, however, I know one that has succeeded and is doing the micro-transactions the RIGHT way. That's World of Tanks. I played it on the 360 and now on the Xbox One. I know its available on PC as well, but they do it right. The game is addictive as hell and you can buy gold that will increase your post game winnings. You can also buy exclusive tanks and packages that have multiple tanks, accessories, and more in-game currency. I don't think it would work for Destiny though just because its a totally different game.
