A little bit ago I was doing some recruiting and I asked them what they do for fun. The candidate said they also play video games...I got excited and asked him if he plays destiny and he said yes. So we talked about the game and the new expansion for about 30 minutes and I just had to hire him. Anyone else have a story like that or met a fellow player in real life?
Edit: He was qualified but it's what separated him from the rest.
Edit 2: Since a lot of people do not know how the hiring process goes I'll clarify. You get applications in for a job that is available. Someone goes through all the email and paper applications and based on job history and experience decides who to interview. Then the hiring manager picks the person that is best for the job, will be dependable, and will mesh with the current team. Not everyone can get hired.

31 답변This is going to make future DLC releases real awkward "Hey boss I can't come in I'm really sick!" "So am I! I'll send you an invite."

35 답변I didn't hire anyone but I have a similar story. I travel a lot...like a whole lot. And it's always two people traveling together. I was with this guy I never worked with before and he didn't seem like the talkative type. Spent about two hours of this 6 hour trip in complete silence. As we were driving down the highway we see this billboard that says something about a guardian angel, but the sign was somewhat broken and the "guardian angel's" head was half way off. I made a comment about it and he replied by saying "Guardian down". I was in complete shock and didn't know if he used that as a reference or not so I said that it must have ran out of revives. He was shocked and kinda stared at me. At the point I had to ask if he played Destiny. The guy got a huge smile on his face and started going on and on about his characters and destiny lore and we nerded out the rest of the way there and spent 6 hours talking about it on the way back.

49 답변I'm a tattoo artist with a ps4 and TV in my room at work, and I have several clients that play Destiny. I've had a few grind strikes while I tattoo them and one that offered to finish up my void kills for my thorn bounty back in the day. He got it while I tattooed him and needless to say, he didn't have to pay for that session.

15 답변What's his grimoire? I'd recommend looking into that before making a decision like that.

2 답변Haha nice! I do the same shit when I hire people. However you gotta watch out how you ask, because it could turn around and bite you in the ass by a candidate suing you and the company. Always best to word it so they tell you vs you asking directly, because if he said no to playing destiny and you hired someone else... He/she could of -blam!-ed you over.

2 답변4 of my employees play Destiny, and 3 of them are in my clan. 1 by 1 they all went out and bought the xbox1 and Destiny because I talked about it so much.

Had a long battle with Apple over having my iPhone warrantied. After going through several employees and managers I ended up talking to someone in customer relations. As we were trying to sort everything out it came up that we both played destiny. A few days later I had a new phone in the mail. Not proven but I like to think that our association with Destiny helped.

Good man helping fellow gardians. However, if there was someone more qualified for the position, that person should have been hired. If they where on the same level of talent/skill/qualifications, but one played destiny...then yea it's a no Brainer lol
