out of the millions that play every day, one person would've found it by now if it existed. I mean, reddit has hackers literally using their knowledge of encryption just to find three word clues to the dmn gun. with people this dedicated one person would've for sure found the gun in the near month this game has been out if it were possible. own up and admit the gun doesn't exist yet. also, thanks to an observant guardian for pointing this out: [quote]The sleeper stimulant is not even in the game if you look at the exotic kiosk you will see in the heavy engrams area 3 slot are for the swords one is for the truth and one is for the thunderlord[/quote] edit: i'm honestly both surprised and perturbed by how much attention this got overnight. I'm also surprised by how hostile this community can be over me just being dissatisfied with something about the game. I'm not hurting anyone with an opinion so there's really no reason to be so hostile and post such negative remarks. not that it really bothers me, it's just surprising how negative people get over something so small. also for all those using the black spindle or touch of malice as examples of them not including data about certain guns anywhere in the game because they show as classified when you look at them on somebody's profile, they're not a very good example. did everybody forget about the bungie armory on their website? data for every gun that you can obtain shows up there, even the classified ones. black spindle and touch of malice both show up in the bungie armory. sleeper simulant doesn't. why? because it doesn't exist yet. and I'm also not saying I deserve to have said gun. but if I want it, I should have the opportunity to obtain it if I wanted to. I'm not complaining about not having the gun or it being a super huge mystery to obtain. I like mystery. I like easter eggs and I like challenges. what I don't like is content that is locked behind bars because the means to obtain things aren't in place yet. They literally showcased this gun as if it would be accessible in the game, yet it's obviously not. edit#2: for those saying that it's possible that even though millions are playing but we're all just not finding it because it's that hidden realize that things like "twitch plays pokemon" and "twitch plays Mario" and "twitch plays metroid" exist. if seemingly random input from a community of thousands of players can accomplish things like beating something as complex as pokemon or metroid, then certainly millions of people looking for one gun in one game is also possible. twitch plays pokemon alone did not take more than a week to beat.
