Easy strategy for people having trouble on "Lost To Light" for their Black Spindle - Swords! (2man with 2.25 left on timer)
[b]For anyone having difficulty with the mission or had difficulty last itme:[/b]
This can be done fairly easily Defender Titan + any other class if you have swords, we 2 manned it killing the boss in 40 secs and having 5.15 to left to kill all the adds. Finished it with 2.25 left on the timer.
We ran a 297 Defender TItan + 298 Stormcaller Warlock at the time and neither of us had raid gear. Text + below:

The first 2 rooms where you need to kill the Taken are fairly simple and straight forward. Kill them off as fast as you can, not really too much to explain. The last room with the Taken is probably the most difficult part with Drivikis, the Chosen; but you want to kill the boss ASAP. With a Defender Titan running Blessing of Light it makes it fairly easy, you can just bubble up on the platform where the boss begins and sword him to death rather quickly. We killed it two man using this strat and had the boss dead with 5.15 left to spare to clean up the adds, spending about 40 seconds to kill the boss total. Take down the big black balls after this and the rest is just clean up duty. We were light level 297 and 298 for this; neither having raid gear.

I feel like the best strategy is concentrating on the adds first and making the black spheres/psions your first priority. Bad juju made this part SO easy. Then my team just burned him with rocketfire. Rinse repeat. Didnt have trouble at all with 295 and a 296 light level teammates with me (290)

4 답변This is the preferred method my group used. At least it offered the quickest finishes. The theory is that the quicker you finish off the boss, the less adds you have to deal with. The only problem usually is being able to DPS him with all the adds around. So the titan bubble with blessings right on him is a great strategy if you can make it work. If anyone has exotic swords, it just mows him down. Even legendary swords will take him to about a 1/4 health by the time the bubble dissipates or you die. Then when you re spawn, there are a few less waves of minions to deal with which helps your overall time. It was a good 15 minutes for each of our 310 black spindles on three characters a piece. So all in all about an hour for three 310 spindles. Was able to get 1000 yard stare and the chaperone to 310 in just 1 hour this way.

I was a 295 stormcaller, my buddy was a 295 Nightstalker and our other clan mate was a 294 Sunsinger. He rocked a sword (solar is best) and he would smash the boss until he died then self res, hit him a couple times and then run. I would rocket the boss and then electrocute the adds when they piled up. The hunter tethered the whole room and made enough orbs to fill both me and the Sunsinger. Rinse and repeat. Also take out the blight as absolute first priority.

2 답변Awesome strategy thanks man, has anyone tried this as the normal heroic mission yet when its not the daily? it would be good to know as I have heard that it does not have to be the daily.

작성자: Roe Larry 10/1/2015 4:46:27 PMWas able to finally clear it yesterday on our 1st try somehow. I was a 295 Titan, had a 301 Hunter & Warlock with me. I bubbled the boss w/St.14 and we sworded the sh!t out of him. It didn't go well at first but the Warlock supered some ads so I got my bubble back quickly and then we got him down on the 2nd bubble. Killed the last ad with 2sec left on the clock, it was a close one. Got the Spindle and ship, but more importantly I got the satisfaction of finally clearing it. The key to our success was the fact the other 2 members of my team had exotic swords, without that we never would've gotten enough DPS on him.

I did it with three 295s a warlock and two titans, you don't need anything at 300+ or an exotic sword, I used the bryonic hero pistol at 289, the next big thing shotgun at 294, and a truth rocket launcher at 297, nobody in my team was over 300 on anything rank or weapons. All you need to do is have one titan with weapons of light taking out the taken black spawn orbs (don't know proper name), another titan with sunbreaker fighting the boss and the warlock making orbs with stormcaller fighting the extras.

Didn't see this post yesterday, but we basically ran two titans and a warlock (me). Tried it on my hunter which is 301 but it just wasn't happening, so switched to the easy mode warlock stormcaller and got it first time. The two titans went and popped bubbles on the boss and used swords, and only focused on him, while I took care of all the Spawning orbs, & the adds with the Stormcaller super.

8 답변We tried that yesterday with 3 people using 295 swords and he took forever to go down. We ran out of time clearing the mob. Did it again and hung back with lmg's and smoked him. I'm curious why our swords didn't destroy the boss immediately with all 3 of us going HAM.

2 답변Looking for someone to help us out. 299 Hunter w/exotic sword (arc), 298 Hunter w/exotic sword(arc). Been trying and cannot get it done in time. We are not in the position to carry anyone, unfortunately. Looking for 1, preferably with experience or a good strat to get this hell of a fight completed. Xbox One Msg MrSachmoJones

6 답변Thing is, we killed the boss, then went to killing the adds. The balls kept respawning eventhough the boss was dead. Wth Bungie?

11 답변Tried the defender bubble with blessings did not work, titan got his back side handed to him and that was the end of the bubble.
