Yeah he does, the Osmium King, who went senile and died shortly after 10 years. Proto-Hive only lived 10 years. Then Oryx/ Aurash was like look at the sky and symbiotically connect us to worms. Yeah...
Major spoiler!! Ahh! Just pieced this puzzle together!
Eris is Taox. I'm sure of it. Taox is "neutered to watch", meaning she doesn't age but at the cost of not being able to reproduce.
I just received a warlock artifact from levelling up Eris. It's called "the damned lute" (could be referencing the betrayal of the osmium King). It's flavour text reads:
hey nonny nonny, hey nonny nonny, be not blithe nor bonny... "
I thought wtf? So I researched it. That verse comes from a nursery rhyme sang to children. While I researched, I heard Eris begin to recite her own poetry.
Toax raised Oryx, Sathona and Xi Ro. This artifact is a nursery rhyme. What are the odds? Why else would they have quote?
Thoughts?
I remember I scanned a statue and ghost said there was no record of this hive God, next to that statue was a statue of Crota then inside a statue of Oryx
That other hive god in the statues in regicide.
But seriously if I'm remembering correctly Oryx when he was a she killed her father with his/her sisters.
I'm not against the whole sex change thing, but dammit does it make describing that difficult.
Pradyth turns out to not be be dead and sends out distress signal from the vault. You go in and after a few story missions of looking for Pradyth you get teleported to Atheon, where a bunch of guardians are fighting Atheon, but you lost communication to the tower. Turns out you got teleported back in time by the Vex, and you met up with the original raid group. You manage to beat Atheon, but you can't return to orbit because your ship didn't exist at the time. You unlock a social space to get bounties and other stuff from the vault. After a few missions, you meet Xylar the Timeless, and manage to beat him. By killing Xylar you create an eternal time portal to escape. You escape and return back to the tower. Later you are asked to return to collect Vex parts for research for the Vanguard. When you return, you eventually meet Xylar again, due to him changing the events in time. He chases you around, but you manage to escape. The Vanguard wants Xylar destroyed again, which unlocks the new raid.
Fun fact, the worms are actually ahamkara. The book of sorrow States the worms have wings, elongated bodies and jaws. Also, the things they say are very similar to ahamkara "Oh vengeance mine".
The legend! Why are you still a ps exclusive? It's been a year!
Serious note though he did, but the king died in the beginning of the books of sorrow. Oryxs sisters however are still alive
