Titan Logic
(First part is satire based for those who can't tell...just clarifying that. Read edit 4 for the legit topic I'd like to discuss)
>Be titan
>get killed by hunter
>say hunter is op
>months later
>get really strong super
>has highest damage reduction
>has health regen
>7+hammers
>melee and ranged attacks
>has glitch to throw infinite hammers
>gets called op
>tells people to deal with it
>calls people complainers
>lies about super so it won't get nerfed
>"snipers one shot kill me"
>"rockets still kill me"
>becomes most hypocritical person
Edit: It's amazing how quickly people shut up after one or two points or actual facts are brought up about why they are op, we are asking for one reduction on one of there aspects of there huge kit, and of course because we're hunters we are called complainers and whiners. But when titans did this year one it was totally ok.
Edit 2: I wonder why so many people are arguing for the nerf...maybe cause it's actually op? Probably not we should just git gud guys.
Edit 3: Still amusing how many people are not counter arguing after one even remotely intellegent counter argument is brought up.
Edit 4: I was alittle salty when I made the original post, but my real thoughts is that we could leave the whole class alone, throwing hammers with explosions is awesome. But make it alittle more fair by making the damage reduction the same as other non static supers.

Edit 5: Just gonna use this popularity to say that this isn't a "hate on titan post", it started with satire against them but yes, it's satire. The main point of this post was to help bring attention to an issue in destiny pvp
Edit 6: FINAL THOUGHTS
Lore is no basis for balancing classes, things still have to be fair and all. And the whole point of non static supers is be strong while being able to move around and help push points on the map. While doing this there has to be some line, ie counter play. HoS has such high armor it eliminates alot of counter play that you would normally have for other non static supers

3 답변I main a titan and I believe this super is op in pvp and should only be nerfed for pvp. I believe that many titans say it's not op so it doesn't get too nerfed and useless for pve too

3 답변It's a super. Supposed to be OP. learn to manage it. Run from it. If you're a Hunter go night stalker and stop the super. Or. Go golden gun and kill the guy. Nova bomb the titan warlocks. Good god. The glitch to throw infinite hammers doesn't make it op. Bungie needs to fix the glitch. This super is one of the easiest to avoid. Just like running around a corner to avoid golden gun hide from the hammers.

4 답변Ok, so heres my view: Things the super needs to KEEP to maintain its usefulness. 1. HEALTH REGEN. This perk is crucial to survival in crucible. You move slow and ponderous when in hammer mode. Too easy to get sniped and dead. 2. DAMAGE RESIST Blade dancers get damage resist, healing, speed, and range if they use razors edge. Titans lack the speed, so they need the slight bonus to damage resist. They CAN survive a rocket if already at full health. They'll have a tiny sliver left. While a blade dancer can blink thru a rocket or dodge it another way because of their incredible speed. Titans NEED that little extra DR boost to make their super viable. WHAT NEEDS FIXED 1. Hammer glitch If the super is used normally you get 4-6 hammers. Considering their much harder to aim at even moderate distance compared to GG, this is balanced. However the current 15 hammer glitch is game breaking. 2. Health regen startup If they made the health regen only heal 50% instantly, or start regen only after 2 seconds it would give others more of a chance to finish them before they healed fully. I think this alone would balance. I play sunbreaker and defender as mains, and i really dont think theyre that OP now. I die in my super if I get surrounded, I have also killed full HP sunbreakers with a shotgun melee combo, just like a bladedancer.

3 답변It is op and i play on my titan a lot. The only problem aside from the glitch is how high the armour is...at least GG had no armour so you could at least kill them.

2 답변I see so many titans that say nothing but "of course they're a hunter". Here, I'm a warlock, and that super is definitely OP. Now if you want to argue with me you're going to actually have to have an argument. It's OP because of everything said before, it's a Frankenstein of all the good qualities of the other lasting supers without any negatives. Every other not one-off super can be charged at with some hope. Even within their range, there's a strategy, except with hammer of sol.

You finally got what you wanted... a tank
