You people cry for MONTHS on how Bungie is slow to act. How they take forever to get anything done. How it took months to get Vault space for instance.
Now they have responded to two issues (The 3 of Coin Exploit and the Black Spindle Damage Bug) in record time and now you are wallowing in puddles of tears and piss because they reacted so quickly.
You are upset because THESE are bugs and exploits that you don't WANT fixed because they benefit you.
Don't sit there and give me the "ITS THEIR FAULT FOR NOT PAYING ATTENTION SO THEY SHOULD DEAL WITH IT" excuse because you sound like a child stamping your foot over not getting a cookie after dinner when you say that.
These are BUGS/EXPLOITS and just like all bugs and exploits they didn't show up until AFTER we got our hands on the items in question. It happens all the time in games. The difference being that this time the bug/exploit is beneficial to us rather than being a hindrance. So now you people are crying tears of blood over the fact that they are going to fix them.
They are BUGS. They are EXPLOITS.
Its their JOB as a developer to fix these things regardless of whether they are "Good bugs" or "Bad Bugs".
You are -blam!-ing hypocrites.
Either you want them to fix the game when problems show up or you want them to leave the game alone when it breaks.
You people are embarrassing yourselves with your own bias. You have the weapon so OF COURSE you want it to stay at 310. Just like the Ghorn owners wanted it to remain untouched. You are so close to the problem that you are incapable of seeing it clearly.
You are stamping your feet and demanding the bug not be fixed because it benefits you and in the same breath you are demanding they take timely action for bugs that affect you negatively.
You can't have it both ways. You can't call them lazy when they don't fix something and then call them assholes when they do. You are behaving like spoiled brats and its embarrassing.

They do have a history of taking a very long time to fix things that are broken (minotaurs, balance) and very quick at removing an advantage. 2. Almost every other title has notion of allowing people to keep a pre-patch item when unbalanced things show up. Spindle is not so broken that it couldn't be left as 310, making it 290 is fine, but don't hurt people who chose to put in the effort to get it. This is semantically what they did with 3 of coins. I'm fine with the lowered rate (or a timer, or increased cost). They didn't pull back exotics. Remember the WOW designer interview "we quickly learned you don't take things away. Change them, fine, but don't ever take something away." It's the insta-fix (which would be fine if they made it as intended and left the hustlers the reward) AND the take back that have people annoyed. FTR: failed on a spindle, but I think those better than me should keep it. EDIT: speeling r hurd

Bugs and Exploits need to be smashed from the get go, VOG and Crota took a while to get fixed I'd say about 80% got fixed. I blame three of coins half on Bungie and half on everyone who exploited it. They should have known every possible outcome. If it wasn't for some people and kept their farming method to themselves it wouldn't have become a big issue. Black Spindle, why grant best gun in the game from a secret area in a Daily...Best guns should be kept in the raid and all exotics should be on the same level, but different ways to obtain. Was the mission a pain yes, but I'd gladly take a 290 exotic than no exotic at all.
