You people cry for MONTHS on how Bungie is slow to act. How they take forever to get anything done. How it took months to get Vault space for instance.
Now they have responded to two issues (The 3 of Coin Exploit and the Black Spindle Damage Bug) in record time and now you are wallowing in puddles of tears and piss because they reacted so quickly.
You are upset because THESE are bugs and exploits that you don't WANT fixed because they benefit you.
Don't sit there and give me the "ITS THEIR FAULT FOR NOT PAYING ATTENTION SO THEY SHOULD DEAL WITH IT" excuse because you sound like a child stamping your foot over not getting a cookie after dinner when you say that.
These are BUGS/EXPLOITS and just like all bugs and exploits they didn't show up until AFTER we got our hands on the items in question. It happens all the time in games. The difference being that this time the bug/exploit is beneficial to us rather than being a hindrance. So now you people are crying tears of blood over the fact that they are going to fix them.
They are BUGS. They are EXPLOITS.
Its their JOB as a developer to fix these things regardless of whether they are "Good bugs" or "Bad Bugs".
You are -blam!-ing hypocrites.
Either you want them to fix the game when problems show up or you want them to leave the game alone when it breaks.
You people are embarrassing yourselves with your own bias. You have the weapon so OF COURSE you want it to stay at 310. Just like the Ghorn owners wanted it to remain untouched. You are so close to the problem that you are incapable of seeing it clearly.
You are stamping your feet and demanding the bug not be fixed because it benefits you and in the same breath you are demanding they take timely action for bugs that affect you negatively.
You can't have it both ways. You can't call them lazy when they don't fix something and then call them assholes when they do. You are behaving like spoiled brats and its embarrassing.

I agree, but I don't find it embarrassing. I think it's funny. I doubt Bungie takes it personally. It's expected behavior. The exploits are easy to fix, so of course they get addressed quickly. I will say that I am appreciating my fireteam having black spindle 310 in level 36 strikes. In the grand scheme of things, it's not the intended way to play the game and is no conceptually different than pushing Athens or yanking an ethernet cord (I've done both once, sue me).

I hear what you are saying and I agree. I just think you are talking to a smaller group of people than you believe. I love their response time on their bug fixes, I just wish they would do all bugs at that speed. They even gave a heads up on what they were doing. I can't wait to see what else is in store.

I'm going to have to stop you right there :) You want an issue concerning bugs that is actually embarrassing? Let me break it down for you OP. Bungie has always, let me say that again, always, been quick to fix bugs that work in our favor. When the oracles were not working properly in VoG (heck, they probably still aren't working properly), Bungie barely even addressed the issue. But when we found a way to cheese Atheon off the edge, because we didn't want to spend 4 hours on a broken boss? They nerfed that pretty quick. This has been a consistent practice of the development team since the release of Destiny, and it needs to stop. If they are well equipped to knock out an exploit in 7 days, they can at least talk to us about broken raid mechanics when the entire community is in an uproar over it. (It wasn't just VoG too, I'll bet we've all experienced game breaking Issues with Crota's end at some point). When Bungie puts precedence on fixing bugs that work in our favor, over bugs that don't work in our favor (sometimes months at a time), it starts to paint a picture (whether accurate or not) of what they want from us as a player base. It's no longer bugs breaking the game at that point, but bugs working in their favor, as it causes us as a player base to spend more time in the game when a raid boss isn't working right. So, does that mean that these fixes aren't justified? No. But what you need to understand OP is that Bungie is not in anyway redeeming themselves from this last year of silence. Where they effectively padded out a shallow game, with well known bugs, that they all but ignored. We as a community have a right to be upset when this is the approach they take to bug fixing. We also have a right to be upset when Destiny is plagued with a constant stream of bugs. This is a persistent game, yes, and there will always be bugs that show up seemingly out of nowhere. But it seems as if every time something new comes out, it launches with a plethora of bugs. Heck, they can't even patch a bug without breaking something. (Lookin at you Valus). Bungie needs to take their time with any new content they release, rather than rushing it out the door to meet a deadline. We've had an entire year of that, enough is enough. And when they find out about a bug, regardless of whether it is beneficial to us as an exploit or breaking the game, they at the very least need to address the community about it as soon as humanly possible (Heck of a run on sentence there). Finally, what I think has been made clear with this recent exploit is that bungie is either not actively testing the game well enough, or, not actively testing the game at all. That is to say, they don't have a team working everyday looking for bugs, at any capacity, when they most definitely should. If this exploit has any relevance as to what they need to change, this is something Bungie really needs to improve on. The community can understand that things in the game will break sometimes. Bungie should not, however, pick and choose which bugs they want to talk about, even if they can't fix some of them right away. We should not be ignored for several months at a time in regards to bugs that break the game. . TL;dr: Lay off OP. We have plenty of reason to be upset with a developer that let a raid sit, almost unplayable, for an entire summer.

작성자: Hork3r 9/26/2015 10:38:59 AMWhy are you apart of this community? Maybe you should come back and be a part of this community? And its embarrassing? That makes no sense. Don't you mean it's embarrassing? Trust me when I say this. Broken grammar and vocabulary makes you sound stupid.

It is a baseless accusations meant to bully someone for saying what they think, no matter what point they are trying to make. That is a very professional/workplace attitude for a casual forum. I think you make valid points, but your attitude seems like it needs a boost. Sending positive vibes.

Raid bug. Joining party durring oryx fight. Problems with crucible on last gen. I'm sure there's more important concerns bungie can act quick on.... Important fixes takes a new dlc to even get looked at and fixed.. But hey catching those two things you mentioned on record time shows bungie doing their jobs. Lol they just announced that it is known and will be fixed.. Hasn't happened yet bro... Now get off their nuts and just play the game. Don't like the community you are apart of? Then leave or learn to ignore the parts of the community you dislike. Good day sir.

4 답변Very long post you got there... but let me say this. The reason it pissed people off isn't cause they don't want the 3oC or black so indie to remain unchanged l. It's because when there is a bug or issue that is making players suffer, like vault space, heavy ammo vanishing, Atheon teleporting 1 person, Xur not having a weapon to sell, etc. It takes them forever to address it, and gives the community this song and dance about how even altering the slightest thing can have disastrous consequences and they don't want to push out a patch till they are sure. Yet, when it's something the community is using to their advantage, suddenly they have a crack team that can address this immediately, without any consequence to the player base... seems legit. You can bet your bottom dollar if showed up to the tower with two guns they'd fix it in seconds, yet when he has no gun, suddenly if they add one to his inventory, it will break the game? Long story short, people aren't being hipacritical, they are upset that Bungie only works fast when it comes to addressing something that is benefiting players, but when they are suffering, they can't fix it.

63 답변작성자: Ghost J34 9/25/2015 12:12:07 AMYou can't possibly be this dense. No one cares that they're fixing bugs in a timely manner. It's the fact that Bungie is all too eager to fix "good" bugs while taking forever to fix "bad" bugs. If they showed this type of urgency for all bugs/situations, and not just the ones that benefit the community, then no one would care. What's embarrassing is how you seem to think you've taken the role as the "voice of reason" for these forums. Give it a break already.

I see where you're coming from but why can they fix these things in a couple of days yet take months to fix the heavy ammo bug or Crotas sword falling through the floor? Seems to me this is the formula: Bug that causes some kind of benefit to player = FIX AS SOON AS HUMANLY POSSIBLE! Bug that causes great frustration or extra difficulty to player = Meh, we're going for coffee then looking at putting together a committee who might make an agenda who will look at the possibility of having someone starting a discussion with a line manager who may be able to get someone to allocate some resources to look at the issue.

At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul."
