Allot of disrespect has been going around on Offtopic (more than usual it seems to me) and its time that we start treating each other more like we would in person. Many of the religious threads, for which I have been partly responsible, continually generate meanness and disrespect from both view points. Debate is important. But respect is more so. The Respect Challenge reaffirms the basic humanity I know we all share. I am creating it for my self as well, as I don't like the unkindness many of these topics have drawn out of me.
