On the mission, Lost to Light, when you get to the door with the three relics needed to open it, go right from the door and you will eventually end up where the Shadow Thief strike takes place. Your ghost will say that he's receiving a fallen distress beacon and you can go into the ship by the grav lift. Once you're there, a timed mission begins to kill all the Taken in 10 minutes. There is a pretty annoying boss at the end of it who loves spamming those gas balls that mess with your vision. I haven't completed it yet since I just found it, but I'm curious if anyone has finished it yet or maybe knows what you get for doing it.

작성자: ShiestySorcerer 9/24/2015 8:46:59 PMBump for people who can do this strat. My team consisted of two warlocks and 1 Titan. All around 300 (299, 297, 300). We had all recently had received the exotic sword. 2 Bolt-Casters and Raze Lighter. We cleared all rooms and arrived at the Boss at 6:40. We made a bee-line for the boss, and the Titan hit him with Melting Point. Then we unleashed our special sword attacks, doing MASSIVE damage. When the warlocks die, use self-Rez and revive the others. We killed him with 4 minutes to kill adds. DESTROY THE BLIGHTS. No point in clearing adds if they keep spawning. Then you can go to town on the Taken. Titan should use his hammer of sol after blights are clear, to make it faster and spawn orbs for the warlocks. Hope this helps. I understand not everyone may have the exotic swords, and I apologize. Edit: we finished with 1:30 left.

1 답변Was a straight B to complete... took us 5 tries. 1 Titan, 2 Warlocks, 290, 292, 294. Popped blessings of light bubble on boss platform, all 3 of us damaged boss with swords, shotguns (solar seemed to work better on him than anything else) while in and out of bubble (using it to keep us alive longer). Got him down to about 30% life left, we all died when bubble de-spawned. Re-spawned, 2 warlocks popped storm caller supers to create orbs (left side just at stairs). Titan re-ups super, bubble again, same attack strategy as before, boss goes down (still had 3 minutes left at this point), took out blights first, mobs after blights, BOOM... finished (23 seconds left). We may have been able to complete it faster and have more time left at the end, but the adrenaline was flowing and personally I took my time NOT dying again while killing the 1 billion mobs in the room (seriously, it felt like a Walmart on Black Friday right after the doors opened). Does anyone have information on whether or not a certain element does more damage or not? Again, after trying a few different things it appeared to me that solar did more damage to him. Also, I read that this daily will appear more frequently so everyone will get another chance to get their butts handed to them sooner than later. Good luck out there guardians!

13 답변This mission is stupid hard. I don't understand how people can actually do it in 10 minutes. I'm 290 and I had a 300 and another 290 and we can't do it.

7 답변I tried to get this nonsense for almost 7 hours with various groups, kept coming so close but just not enough. This fight epitomizes everything I hate in a boss encounter - time limit? check. infinitely spawning enemies? check. absurd amounts of damage from nearly every angle? check. lots of bullet sponges that need to die? check. I thought we were suposed to be moving away from this kind of crap? I don't mind *some* of those elements but too many of them are rolled into a single fight and it just removes any sense of genuine challenge. It's more of an exercise in frustration. For one thing, the mission itself is 240 yet the enemies in there are closer to 290 ! (it says 240 in the feed but that's bull). There's no reasonable way to tackle this fight outside of abusing certain combinations of supers and even then it's far from a sure thing. There are no mechanics that have to be learned or anything that relaly forces the player to think, it's just pure aggravation via artifical difficulty (inflating enemy stats to make it harder). The ultimate insult was the 1 time I nearly had it, and would have had it, my stupid internet cut out on me and then the 2 guys iw as doing it with went offline. Awesome....

14 답변작성자: GANTZ 9/23/2015 9:49:49 PMid like the new black hammer but after spending last 3 hours on this frustrating task i reconsidered ..;. game has to be fun and the way bungie designs challenging content isnt the definition of fun to me , you get a bulletsponge and tons of adds who 1-shot you with homing projectiles + now with a brand new time limit so you cant take any cover... it just feels unfair and not worth the effort :D

So just ran it with 2 hunters and me a warlock, 1 nightstalker 1 golden gun and and stormcaller. Me and 1 hunter concentrated on adds and black orbs while void hunter dps the boss...took us 3 tries and it worked. Stormcaller worked really good on adds and when we saw black orbs we called it out and took them down which made the fight so much easier. I think we finished with 1 min to spare. Also we started last room with 6 1/2 minutes so be sure you get there with enough time. Also used RL 296 to help take down groups of adds. My warlock was 293 but we had a 300 hunter and that really helps with dps. 7 light makes a big difference.
