Hey, Im only at [UPDATE: 292ish light] and I'm really looking forward to doing the raid.
I have purposely avoided any and all things about the Raid, because I wanted to experience a new raid by myself and without assistance for the first time ever. (For context, I got destiny a few weeks after TDB was released, so everyone already knew most of what to do, not to mention i was a nooby scrublord at the time).
So please, have some guardian's respect, and dont spoil it for me!
I just have a few questions for those who have been through most or all of it:
1. How long will it take me (assuming I could beat it when I attempt it), and how many "sections" are there?
2. Should I even bother trying below 295 light?
3. How epic is it?
4. How creative and fun is it in comparison to previous raids?
5. On a scale of difficulty ranging from 1 (being crota present day) and 10 (being vog day 1 of release), how hard is the raid? Judging by complexness, teamwork requirement, amount of adds, bullet sponges, and things shooting at you.
Please do your very best to avoid spoilers!
Good example: "The final part where you fight oryx has lots of enemies attacking you and involves a crapload of teamwork and communication"
Bad example: "There are [amount of specific enemies] at [specific location] and you have to [specific action]."
Please dislike spoiler posts to spare me if you see any. Thanks!

4 답변1) Flying blind the stuff is fairly easy except for Oryx, that will take some thought. I would say the average player (not calling you average just generalizing my experience with other players) should be able to get it in 10 hours or so. Give or take. 2) 285/290 is a safe bet. And I'm being somewhat generous. 3) On a comparison system of epicness and fun. Vault of Glass = nap time in kindergarten. Crota's End = outside recess in third grade. Kings Fall = being a teenager locked in a room with Emma Watson where you're both naked and her sex drive is higher than Snoop Dog. 4) Giant pendulums. Jumping off of moving ships. Slam dunks on statues. Going into other dimensions. A section that reminds me expressly of the game show Wipeout. An Ogre with a crab thing on his back. A misty maze that I got lost in. Chest that require extreme exploration. And a really bad tempered hive dad that in stature resembles Cronus on Wrath of the Titans. Need I say more? Oh, and ogre acolytes... 5) I'd say a solid 13. Makes the other raids on day 1 look like a 12 piece puzzle compared to the confusion of puberty. Questions answered? Yes? You're welcome...

작성자: ThisMahSwamp 9/24/2015 8:23:40 PM1) That depends on your team, naturally. You could expect to clear it in 2-3 hours or 12. 2) You can do most of the raid at 295 or lower, but the Oryx fight will prove difficult. 3) Like nothing you have experienced to date 4) Very fun and very frustrating at times 5) 11. Well, at times. Some sections are fun and relatively moderate in terms of difficulty, whilst others ratchet the difficulty up there.

Time? It depends Light? I'd try to get a little higher Mechanics? Ridiculously good. This raid is unbelievable dude, I can't even explain how good it is in words. Just play it. Toughness? Makes day 1 VOG look like a joke. The raid is amazing but REALLY REALLY REALLY DAMN TOUGH.

1 답변Expect idiots to be in your fireteam. And if you don't have any idiots in your fireteam, it's probably you.

1. ) A few hours if you're going in blind with other people who are blind. If you're new, hope you have a few hours to learn everything. 2. ) Yes, of course. The minimum is 290 up until Oryx, which is recommended 300. You'll probably get gear to bump you up past 290 getting to Oryx though, so don't worry about not being 295+. 3) VERY EPIC. Lots of learning to do and it truly is the biggest raid. Let's just say there are 5 different mechanics governing the Oryx fight. 4) It's much different. I'd say its comparable to Vault of Glass in terms of getting to the boss and mixed mechanics, but it's too big to even compare. It's something new and I think you'll enjoy it VERY much if you liked VoG. 5) It's up to 11. All of the different mechanics combined and how differently each boss fight is, it definetly makes this raid much harder in comparison. Once you get it down, it gets MUCH easier, but it can not be compared to the past two.

You want a sniper. Don't use rockets you will kill yourself in small spaces. I would suggest hi impact and damage on both sniper and I would use a heavy machine gun. One titan with weapons of light. One hunter with the bow. You will want a good primary suitable for clearing many ads. There are jumping puzzles so practise your jumping skills. I personally enjoy this raid more than any other.

There's a bunch of hidden chests Pre war priest
rideing a ship, there's a passage where a teammate must stand on a plate to open a shield door so the others don't die while riding the ship across. If you jump to the left and take a long ramp up there's a door. To open the door a player must stand on the shield opening plate.
Pre Golgoroth
there are 4 plate inside the dark maze, 4 people step on them in the correct order and a door will open, the other players not on a plate find the chest and enter the room. Then the others can leave the plates
Pre Ir witches
during the bumper jumping puzzle at the part where you first cross the chasm there will be hidden rock that you can see with your ghost, follow those up jumping on random things to a door for a chest(exotic able)
작성자: Rig Donkey 9/24/2015 7:15:51 PMWailing and grinding of teeth I've only gotten up to the warpriest, the randoms I got with and I couldnt make it past. It's very creative, you have to really think and pay close attention to what is going in around you to figure the steps out. It's tough, but doable. You just need a team with people who know what to do. 295 should be fine.
