King's Fall Progress
What part is everyone having a hard time beating? Also leave a comment explaining what's keeping you from advancing to the next stage.
My team got all the way up to oryx on both our main characters and alts, haven't really tried to beat him just yet, but will give it a go today.
Edit: It seems that most people are stuck on Golgoroth or Oryx. I looked for videos on how to beat Golgoroth from the perspective of the person distracting him. I couldn't find anything so I kinda had to figure it out on my own. Here's a video of our first Golgoroth completion from my point of view as one of the guys distracting him. Our method has been fine tuned since then and we can now kill him in just over 2 runs into the pit. One really helpful tip for doing a lot of DPS on him while your in there is to have 2 sunbreaker titans in the pit, and take turns hitting him with your melee to burn his defences and make him take more damage from you and your alies. We found it helped a lot more than just weapons of light. Also have a nightstalker tether him so all hits are critical hits.

2 답변For anyone struggling to down oryx, LMGs are your friend. Just have everyone in your raid team buy the crucible variant. It's high impact low fire rate. You literally can't not stagger him with 6 LMGs going into his chest.

4 답변Has anyone had an issue with Golgoroth's back being stuck closed at certain points preventing them from changing the gaze? My team had that happen multiple times, and so we couldn't chain his gaze indefinitely.

2 답변Friend invited me to Golgoroth checkpoint. We nearly cleared it and I was actually doing really well and I was doing the most damage consistently. We got him down to 5% health when suddenly all 4 of us in the pool die. They decided to take a break after that. I've never seen the beginning of the raid yet though. It apparently took them since Friday to reach Golgoroth.

6 답변Golgoroth is annoying as -blam!-. My team tried beating him for 3 and half hours and we couldn't even get passed 50% health. Anybody know a good strategy? We could easily grab his gaze, but we found it hard to quickly destroy the orbs, go down in the pit, and do damage on him. Our strategy so far is to; spawn in Golgoroth, clear adds, 2 people split up and capture his gaze, but our team struggles to do damage on his stomach. We drop one orb, but by the time that orb is down the other person gets his gaze and he turns away. We can't seem to do it fast enough. Any help is appreciated. So far, the raid is awesome. Definitely better than the Vault of Glass.

In my (limited) experience of doing golgoroth over 4 hours ending in a kill, the improvement when everything comes together is dramatic. E.g. We got him to 66% in the attempt before our kill. Once you get him down, follow the light!
