They f*cked it up. Here's the explanation you get get when you speak to the Speaker for the first time. I could tell you about the story, but I won't. Now go kill aliens. It has a pathetic story mode. You just let your Ghost open doors while you fight off bad guys who are boring and uninteresting. It's like there was a big story at one point and they got rid of it so they can sell it as DLCs. The factions and stuff are all the same. I can't even remember anyone's name at the tower except for Xur. The game is a literal grind fest that is boring as f*ck. The character creator at the beginning is terrible. There are few options so you can't connect to your character. The PvP and raids are fine. If you don't play with friends then this game will get boring when you reach level 20-30. The story is only about 5 hours long. Don't tell me that the game has gotten better with the new DLCs. You're basically saying I have to buy this 60 dollar piece of shit and 40 dollar DLCs as well to enjoy it. F*ck that. The DLCs should have been part of the main game. Not rip offs so Activision can make some extra money. The final boss is f*cking terrible. There's no build up leading to the fight. It's just mini bosses you fought earlier in the game. How can a game with a 500 million dollar budget be so shitty? It's like they didn't give a f*ck and just made this half assed garbage so they can make some money. Jesus Christ ,Bungie. Now lets sit back and let the fan boys come and try to defend their shitty game. EDIT: The Taken King doesn't make up for this shit they tried to pull. I'm not paying 40 dollars for some story.
