You're Cartman. You're breaking the rules, but since nobody can punish you for it, you're claiming it's all good.
After they patch your garbage, will it be cheating then?
Cozmo has flat out told us this excessive behavior is getting the loot items nerfed, so is it really so important to try and ruin the new content so soon after it comes out? Trials got cancelled because kids couldn't resist abusing the Shadowshot glitch.
"I didn't break the rules, Bungie didn't make the rules well enough!!" - Glitchingkid
People make choices. Choosing to abuse this glitch is getting the ToC item nerfed, normal players will not get to use the item in its current strength, because of people choosing to abuse this glitch, it's not being smart, being smart would be keeping it a secret, reporting it to Bungie and not destroying the loot system, did you notice how dry the loot system was after they did the "loot cave" nerfs? Who suffered? Not anyone who abused the cave, they had what they wanted, the people who suffered were the normal players who played normal content with reduced drops. Who will be affected most by the ToC nerf? Players who don't cheat, players who did not seek out cheese, and regular players who just play, who now all have a nerfed ToC item to play with, thanks to other people's actions. Who has been affected by Shadowshot abuse? Everyone who played Iron Banner or planned on playing Trials.
Edit: How to prevent this in the future: Have a team of 12 year olds dive into the games in a sealed server 30 days before each patch release, kids love cheating, they'll ferret out every nook and despicable cranny, use it on eachother till cheese runs from their ears, then the devs can use that data to publish a finished version...
Wait... damn child labor laws...
Edit 2:
So for all the kids making semantic arguments, "it's not cheating, it's a glitch/exploit, etc..." I'll use the Mike Judge classic, Office Space.
Ron Livingston: "So tonight we're gonna go use this trick to get free loot."
Jennifer Aniston: "So you're cheating? That's nice."
Ron Livingston: "No, it's not cheating, it's complicated, there's this flaw in the game, and we're going to exploit it to get extra stuff."
Jennifer Aniston: "So you're going to get a lot of stuff in the game." Yeah "Stuff that's normally hard to get." Yeah "And you don't have to actually play the game normally, just keep sitting in that spot?" Yeah. "So you're cheating."
Lovely lady, so smart.
Next time someone tells you they know of a loot glitch, tell them it's cheating and they shouldn't use it, and that they should report it to Bungie instead.
http://www.xbox.com/en-US/legal/codeofconduct
Don’t cheat or tamper. For example, don't:
Use unauthorized hardware or software
Exploit game vulnerabilities or glitches
Make unauthorized modifications to your account profile or its contents (e.g., tenure, Avatar, game saves, Gamerscore, achievements)
Intentionally play with someone who is using unauthorized software or methods
Or the PSN Equivalent.
Please note that it says, "Don't exploit game vulnerabilities or glitches" not "Only exploit game vulnerabilities and glitches that don't directly impact another player."
You do not own Destiny. You paid for the rights to access software called "Destiny", and agreed to use that software in compliance with the terms and conditions of Bungie and your chosen gaming service. That's not an exaggeration at all, this is a 100% fact.
Edit 3 That Kids Won't Read: I am mocking you, every reply, every copy paste, every stale your mom joke, is practically automatic at this point, this isn't a conversation or an argument, it's a statement of fact, you are cheating trash, period. Don't like it? Cry about it here and call me names.
Edit 4: 3500 replies later, wow, kids really do get mad when called out for behaving badly, reminds me of that commercial where the little girl goes into the freezer for a popsicle and Dad walks over, before he can say a word, she immediately just starts screaming at the top of her lungs, and he turns around and walks away saying "Okay! Okay!"
Sorry kids, but it's never ok to cheat, that's why it's called "cheating" :)

Although I agree with you, it's bungies fault on multiple levels. 1) not testing correctly. This should have been found 2) the awful RNG system inspires people to abuse it at every opportunity out of spite, and I'm with them on that 3) centering the destiny experience on gear.

1 답변Look to me, if you did the loot farming any other way, you aren't very smart. Who is going to intentionally waste their time when you could do it quick and efficient with the same results? It isn't cheating, it's just being smarter than a chimp is all

2 답변Wrong! All that loot was EARNED. Years of gaming experience told me to 'farm everything' so no matter what is sold in 2.0 I can have plenty of it. Poe, public events, and strikes got me over two hundred strange coins. Even if there was no 3 of coins there were ppl (like myself ) that would have been prepared.
