A lot of you older guardians may remember the days of the suicide farm. The principle is find a spawn with an ultra kill them/suicide come back to life repeat. To combat this method bungie implemented a "wipe drop penalty" So when you wipe there is a time limit that until it is up you have a lower drop chance. The three of coins is an ultra farm tool for getting exotics. My question is this: How much of a drop penalty is the wipe penalty, and how much of a bonus is the three of coins drop buff? This is extremely important to the current exotic farm method as it would mean the difference between wasting multiple three of coins and using your investment into them to the fullest. Inquiring minds want to know EDIT-after some testing it seems as if wiping HEAVILY affects the drop rate to wipe and you are better off just doing strikes back to back.
